One of the best
Exquisitely packaged. But, really, is that important? Yes, it did protect the pan and lid and parts. The wok itself was easy to assemble with lid and handle nicely fitted. Nice weight and stylish look. But the real test was the first dish, an omelet with fire roasted tomatoes and some good cheddar cheese. I did heat the pan till water rolled around in it, which happened surpringly fast, and then gave it a light spray of olive oil, slid the beaten eggs in and watched them cook nicely and evenly. Then I slid the cheese, tomatoes and a some Hatch chili sauce on top of the eggs. It all came together nicely as I folded the round omelet in half, let it cook a bit, and then flipped it over. Nothing stuck. Nothing! and this was the first time. I put the tight-fitting lid on to let the cheese melt for a few minutes and then, when I took it off, slid the finished omelet onto my plate. Perfect. To clean the pan, just wiped it out with a paper towel under running water. Second time using it was with sliced onions, red and green peppers, which sauteed beautifully, to which I added some sliced sous vided pork, to make a sandiwch on a toasted roll. Again, nothing stuck. Heat was evenly distributed. Weight of the pan and sides were perfect for flipping. Washup was similar to the first clean up. All in all, this is an incredible pan, truly non-stick, well-made, good-looking, even heating, with a tight-fitting lid. One of the best I've used in many years of cooking. And the price is so so reasonable. Get one before they disappear. One caveat: The spatula, included with the pan, had a cracked handle when it arrived which meant it wasn't sturdy when used, so I got online, contacted Amazon and they told me it would be replaced on Monday. If you're into woks or just need an all-purpose pan, get one of these before they disappear.

This is perfect for my needs
This product is GREAT! First off, I got this product because I originally ordered one from a different company. And that one was NOT anything like I expected or needed. Cue the 13' Carbon steel wok from Todlabe!First thing that struck me was the weight. It seemed a little light at first, but that's without the handle being attached (It comes in two parts the pan body and the handle). It is a wooden handle with a metal rod that goes through it and screws into the pan. Once that was attached and firm the weight seemed much better. It went from being too light to just right! It heats up pretty quickly as a wok should and for what I can tell, the heat seems to be dispersed fairly evenly. I've cooked up plenty of sauces in this thing, I've used it to cook a nice big scramble for me and my girl, and of course stir-fry. I didn't use any oil for any of those dishes, and the pan did not stick. Didn't even have to season it. But every now and then I do take a paper towel with a little oil and smear it on the pan after a wash. Here is a break down:Positives:1 - The weight is perfect, feels like very sturdy craftmanship. The bolts are nice and tight and once the handle is attached, there is no wiggle or any moving parts.2 - The end of the handle doubles as a hanger to hang this in your kitchen without having to take up shelve space.3- This size is perfect for my needs, enough to make a huge amount of sauce or a decent sized stir-fry for my and my lady. If you have a big family, you may want a bigger one.4 - Comes with a lid that has breathing holes and a very sturdy handle itself, Which can double as a stand for the lid a very cool and unexpectedly handy feature!5 - I've had it for a little under a year now ( I bought it in April of 2023) and there still isn't a scratch on it. Now granted I do take care to not use any metal spatulas on it. But that's just because I can't take the noise of metal scrapping against metal.6 - It comes with a metal spatula as well! Now as mentioned above I don't use metal spatulas on this pan because of personal preferences. But the spatula that does come with it is actually pretty nice. Good construction very sturdy and a nice wide like spoon area. I use it on other pans just not this one, because I feel like I'd scrape it.Negatives:I do love the pan a lot, however there are some negatives.1 - The bottom of the pan is rounded and the same material as the rest of the pan (which is to be expected I suppose), but it makes the pan very very slick when it's on the burner. This causes it to slide around more than desired when stirring things. There has been a few times where I was generally scared I would tip the pan off the burner. That def got my heart racing a bit lol Which leads me to negative issue number 2.2 - There is no holding ring on the opposite end of the handle to help with stirring/flipping things. Now granted you can just hold the handle with your off hand while stirring with your other but it would be nice to have that option, if anything just for more safety when having a large amount of food in the pan. Those are really the only two negatives I can think of. I would absolutely buy this one again and would most def recommend this to any one! As a matter of fact I did so while writing this review! If you're in the market for a decent wok that will cook up all the dishes, you will NOT go wrong with this one!

Smooth and Sleek
This wok is great, works so good and is super sleek. Cleaning is easy and just so much better than my previous wok. I’ve used it four times now and each time wish I’d purchased it sooner. The only neg may be on my part as it’s a bit heavy on my wrist when I use it to flip. Still giving it a 9 out of 10.

Good, good, good!
The last time I used a real wok was over 30 years ago before I left Hong Kong. I lived in Canada and then in LA since. I have given up on using a wok since all the stoves I've had did not have a powerful enough burner. I've managed "Chinese" cooking with large non-stick fry pan/skillets. I just bought a new Samsung gas stove late last year and it came with a wok burner attachment, and one of the burners gave out 18,000 BTU. It was then I thought perhaps I could finally use a wok properly. After searched through the internet, watching multiple reviews on amazon as well as youtube (Cook's illustrated), I've decided on trying this one. I've watched many videos on how to season a carbon steel wok and didn't really want to be bothered with it. So the fact that Todlabe came pre-seasoned, and many video reviewed confirmed, helped made the decision. I finally got around to trying it for the first time, I must say, I was a bit nervous at first. Oh, I also waited until I bought a more powerful exhausted fan for the high heat cooking. So It was fun to see the wok turned smoking hot, and I cooked the first meal with a rather large potion of Basil ground chicken (Thai) dish, it didn't retain the heat as long as I hoped for after the ground chicken went in. The cooking time was very similar to my large non stick frying pan, perhaps just a bit faster, but I felt safer cooking with full high heat. I would need to cook a few more dishes to get use to the wok, but clean up was easy, ground chicken didn't stick. I used a wooden spatula, I will tried the metal one that came with the wok next. And I coated the wok with thin layer of cooking oil (wiped with kitchen paper). It does not really fit the "wok attachment" came with the stove because of the flat bottom, which was just fine. And I love the modern wood handle on the lid. I gave it a overall 5 stars after the first use.
