As expected, simple replacement and a direct match for the existing shower hose that had failed.

The shower hose is OK, but the plastic covering makes it less flexible .

Bought Mira Zest Universal 4-Spray Head plus Zest 1.25M hose as replacements for original Mira fittings, now showing their age. Do like the more substantial outer transparent cover to chrome tubing on new hose, which should aid cleaning and wear. And new setup is working perfectly. After selecting hose ends following instructions, new head screwed onto new hose without difficulty, and both parked neatly into sliding shower-head holder. But when it came to fitting other end of hose to wall valve outlet, I did miss the two unobtrusive 20mm spanner 'flats', which had simplified removal of the discarded hose. Found it a struggle to screw new 'tool-less' fitting fully onto old outlet, without marking collar with grips. So do consider cleaning and lubricating threads of any old fittings (with wire-wool, soap etc) before attempting that.

Short cable just what I needed and dose the job perfectly
