Great sound, long battery life,easy to use

Rugged DAB radio and good quality sound.

Purchased as a cheap radio for site work. Rugged handles are not so rugged in practice, flex quite a lot when radio is moved about, however, stay attached and are adequate. The aerial is required and has to be screwed in for use and removed for travelling. It will not fold down. When in battery mode the batteries are consumed very quickly. Purchasing C type rechargeable battiest are a must and would recommend the highest capacity you can get. I have a portable battery with a high capacity and about to test if this will support the radio via usb cable with adapter to power interface. Not used the radio on powered mode as it was purchased for out an about purposes and away from the national grid. summary: nice looking Functional design. easy to use heavy use on batteries so be prepared to buy rechargeable ones. acts as a good speaker via bluetooth connections. The aerial has to be removed or risk it being snapped off when moving around with the radio. good sound for a small radio DAB function is great

Stopped working after four months.

Great quality, battery last very well, you can also fit it with normal batteries, although trust me the charge is great on it's own, you can also charge as you use, pick's up All channels clear and well made, it's definitely Worth the money.

Brilliant work radio, superb sound

Purchased 2 of these as family gifts for use in Barn & Garden, appear resonably robust (time will tell) and have very good sound quality, easily picked up loads of radio stations. Life of built in Lithium battery yet to be found out and no info on whether or not a replacement is available, this would be a usful addition to the instructions. Exactly how weather resistant uncertain but specification says shower proof. However a reasonably priced and portable radio without going to workman type radios from the likes of DeWalt and Makita at several times the price.

Charged 20.08 - used for 20mins 20.08 & 40 Mins 21.08 then it showed 'Battery Low' Charged 21.08 - used for 20mins 22.08 & 35mins 23.08 - 24.08 2 MINS & radio died. Charged 24.08 - used for 40mins 25.08 & 40mins 26.08 - 30mins 27.08 & 25mins 28.08 & 29.08 only 30 seconds & radio died. So not really portable, needs to be plugged in to use for more than half an hour. Bluetooth is excellent
