Liked the fact that the item is heavy gauge Stainless Steel. Gets the work done without any hassles. The only con I could find out was the rubber washer which gets stuck to the vessel and we burned it a couple of times. Should have come with an SS washer

Better than electric version. Easy to use & clean. Saves fuel.

Low quality steel of idli cooker. Burned bottom in very first cooking. Rice cooker is of better quality but its too big for a small family of 4. Also beware that this rice cooker can not be put on gas or induction. Its just a steel casserole.
