Nice size, and a TRUE RED!
I purchased these pot holders, the 3 pack of large dish towels, and 2 table runners, because I am wanting to add some buffalo plaid to our Christmas decor. They all match, and have really given our home the look I wanted. These pot holders are a nice size, and seem to be made well. The dish towels are big, andI used them for towels, and one to cover the top of a stack of decorative little suitcases so that it flowed with the rest of the decor. The towel was a perfect size for this, and looked like that's what is was made for.My favorite item was the table runners. I am very happy with the size and quality. Everyone commented on the table runner on my counter. The runner is a real statement piece, and really pulled everything together. This is my 2nd buffalo plaid table runner. I bought the 1st one from somewhere else, but when I realized that I needed another one, I chose this brand because of the quality of the towels, and pot holders, and for the prime shipping. This runner is a little bit wider, and more substantial than the 1st one, so I replaced the 1st one too.The color on all of these is a true red! The material looks nice, however I can't say how well the color will hold once washed. It does look like the kind of material that could fade after washing, but right now they look great, and I will update after some use, or if anything changes. We decorate early, and these have held up for over a month. We won't be using these all year, and they are priced affordable, so I am pretty pleased with my purchase. I would definitely recommend, and I'm excited to pep up our Christmas decor.

Very cute but not functional for grabbing hot things
Very cute but not functional. The size of the pot holder coupled with the shallow depth of the pocket into which your hand is supposed to go make it too awkward to safely grab onto something hot. I’m keeping them for decoration though bcs the pink is very pretty and nicely matched the accompanying apron in this collection.

I bought these because my older ones were becoming worn out and allowed heat in spots. These are very sturdy and I haven't gotten burned once. I've been using them daily for months now.

Thick worth the money
Nice and thick

Perfect
While not the most heat protection, they do their job well enough. They are high end looking and compliment the McKenzie Childs decor in my kitchen.

They fulfil their purpose.
These pot holders match my kitchen and they work. They do exactly what I wanted them to do.

Durable, heat resistant, and proven design
Perfect mitts for larger hands, and better IMO than regular pot holders. Highly durable so far, and thick enough that I don’t feel any heat. I like this style better than the ones with the thumb sticking out. These make it easy for the thumb to move because of the pre-formed flap.I ordered 2 pairs, and one had some kind of dust when the mitts were hit together. Not sure why...three them in the washer with a load of towels and they’re great now. If/when you wash them, one piece of advice is put them on a central air vent to dry afterwards (heat or AC works depending on the season, AC will be slower though). They are so thick that the inside won’t get dry in the clothes dryer. If you have only used the flat type mitts with the thumb sticking out to the side, then you are missing out. Give these a try and you won’t be disappointed. And they beat the heck out of a regular square pot holder, especially when handling larger pans in/out of a smoker.

Cute but I can hardly use them
Somehow they are so stiff that I can't bend them enough to pick up a cookie sheet or anything from the oven.. I've tried to soften them but so far no luck.
