Terrible rod
I have 2 other wrath reels on other rods that the reels went out on and they work great so when I needed a complete setup I figured this would be a good combo. When it came in everything looked good but when I finally got to go fishing the rod snapped in half on the first cast. I like the reels but will never buy another Penn rod.

Solid rod and reel, just had easily fixable damage on an Amazon renewed purchase.
The rubber end cap on the bottom of the rod was torn off and separated into a different bag. All in all, the rod and reel are solid on the Penn Wrath II. The item was an Amazon renewed purchase, so for the price of an end cap it’s brand new. No biggie 😎 Can’t wait to use it!

Great buy, definitely recommend
Love the rod, lots of backbone. The reel is smooth as glass no complaints, handled a 25-in striper with no problem at all in about a 5 mph current
