I'm one of those people who always keep a backup supply of things -- toilet paper, dish soap, trash bags, batteries, etc. I just hate running out of things, and if I always have an extra in the cabinet, I never run out. And I definitely apply that habit to batteries.I always tended to buy big packs of batteries when they were on major sale, and that turned out to be a very good thing when I was without power for a full week on two different occasions. Eventually I bought a Battery Daddy to keep all those batteries organized, and it has a little pocket for some button/coin batteries -- but that space is not quite big enough for someone who always buys those little batteries in 10-packs. So I went looking for something that could hold/organize 10 LR44s, 10 CR2032s and 10 CR2477s.Unfortunately, none of the coin battery organizers are sized to hold CR2477 batteries, which are a LOT thicker than other little lithium batteries. But since this one has a foam insert, I figured I could make it work. And sure enough, armed with a box cutter and a determination to keep all my batteries in one place, I made it happen.This little battery case is awesome. It holds a ton of button and coin batteries, keeping them from touching (and therefore dying), while making it easy to see what you've got on hand. It's a small but sturdy little case, and like I said, you can cut the foam to fit even larger coin batteries if you need to. It's definitely worth the money if you keep a lot of these little batteries on hand.

This works just like it is advertised. Let me finally get all those loose button batteries in one place instead of hiding in multiple drawers. An added bonus is the sturdiness of the case. It reminds me of the cases for my drill bits. It is not going to pop open by accident. Note: This is designed mainly for the wider the button batteries. The smaller ones that are 10cm or less will get lost in the slots. There is a section on the side where you can keep a few of the smaller variety, but if you have a lot of them, this isn't probably the case for you. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend it.

These cases are very well made, I have several of them for different battery sizes. However, this one is advertised as capable of holding 18350 batteries. Now that I tried to use if for storage of 18350 batteries I have found that "18350" come is several sizes some are small enough to fit quite comfortably but I also have several that are too big to allow the case to close. Unfortunately, I don't know which batteries are the correct size even though they are all labled 18350, or is the case too small. I don't know the correct answer. Most of the 18350 batteries are from different sellers, I'm sure just relabeled but that information is not available to me. If anyone has better information I would appreciate it.Update: Please read this. The day after I posted this review the company that made this battery box reached out and offered a full refund. I turned the offer down because I don't know if the problem is with the battery box or the battery manufactures that are making 18350 batteries that are outside the standard physical constraints. I have several 18350 batteries that are from different manufacturers and they are of varying height. The battery box is probably made to conform to the 18350 standard. I have battery boxes from this company of the following sizes: 21700, 18650, AA, AAA, C, D, CR123A, and CR3232 and all those are made perfectly. All the other boxes I have rate a 5 star.

The case was delivered quickly and is as described by the vendor. I like that foam separates the batteries and holds them vertically. The top of the case also has foam to hold the batteries securely when the case is closed. The case is very sturdy, has strong snap closures and can be locked. You must supply the small padlock. I would buy this again, but it will likely last longer than me.

For years I had button batteries scattered. I had no idea these were made. A real life saver, especially around Christmas. One of best purchases made all year. Easy to use, superb storage capacity. Lightweight and durable.

Great box but a bit pricey other than that it’s great, considering what D cells cost these days I suppose in time it will be a value

This is advertised for use with the cr123 batteries but they might be a little loose in this. I needed it for 18350 batteries, (not to be confuse with the common 18650 batteries). This case holds them flawlessly. They fit snug in the foam, (not too snug) and are very easy to remove/replace in case. This is a heavy duty, water proof case. Recommended!
