Having had other good quality dash cams professionally fitted, i obviously did a lot of research before deciding on the VANTRUE N4 Pro 4K 3. I can honestly say it was an extremely sound investment indeed. The camera does integrate well with the phone that I have and I think there may be a slight problem in the area I live in as the signal strength isn't particularly great and it does struggle to connect between the phone and the camera but I think this is more of an issue with the connectivity rather than the camera itself. There are a great deal of settings and features in this camera and it does take some considerable time to workout what features you want to set for your own particular circumstances. Personally, I wanted to ensure that the camera wasn't operating at peak rate all of the time because that appeared to generate an enormous amount of heat, which in turn is not good for the storage on the micro SD card. I was a little reticent to spend out money on a large memory SD card but having had professional dash cams in the past that appeared to chew through SD cards at a rate of knots, this appears to be a sound investment and the camera doesn't appear to be overly warm at any point in time. The front camera has been mounted mainly behind the rear view mirror on the screen and the rear camera is extremely small indeed and doesn't obscure the view. In summary it gives me some degree of confidence that the car is adequately covered, and I also have the option of the cockpit camera if I want it. While this camera attracts a premium price, it is exceptionally good quality and the Peace of Mind is worth the asking price of alone.

I have had my share of experiments with dashcam, the most recent one with a very well-known brand which worked for a few years but recently started restarting on its own in a loop, which is a known issue for that brand. I came across the Vantrue range during online searches and purchased one dashcam as a trial, not having heard about this brand before. To my pleasant surprise, the installation and use of the device was extremely smooth and very simple. The app connectivity is seamless, and the video resolution is excellent. I loved it so much that over the next few weeks, I went on to purchase 3 more dashcams (different models) for different cars and they have all been just perfect. One of the dashcam models (N2S) does not offer wifi connectivity for app access, which is a bit odd in these times when even refrigerators are IoT enbabled, otherwise everything else is perfect. Also, none of the dashcams has the feature to allow remote access to video footage or settings over the internet; you have to be in close vicinity to connect to the dashcam's wifi signal for app access. That is the only feature I would request for future models but I understand for that to work the device would require either an LTE module or 2-way wifi communication. I have 2 of the N4 Pro dashcams, 1 of the E3 and 1 of N2S and I cannot speak highly enough about them all. On one vehicle (BMW X5) I ran into an issue where the rear camera cable was too short to reach the rear windscreen and the seller offered to ship me a new, longer cable free of cost (I understand the connecting cable, which is a USB type-C, is proprietary). If this isn't excellent customer service then I don't know what is. Overall I am very pleased with my decision and have recommended these devices to many friends. Vantrue range of dashcams is a breath of fresh air in this deluge of over-technical and under-performing devices. If you are looking for reliability & stellar performance coupled with ease of use, just get one. You will not regret it.

The Dashcam is really good, the video and pictures quality is brilliant. Only issue is the set up instructions and the long wires. I had to use YouTube to set up the dash-cam and I didn’t hard wire it as it was too much hard work😃 I wish wire clips were included or the rear camera was Bluetooth enabled or wireless. I had these long wires dangling everywhere so I only use the front camera which also records, the front of the car, inside the car and the rear of the car. The rear view recording with the front dash-cam is the similar to looking into your rear view mirror. I had issues with recording after 1 week and replace the SD card. You need a card reader to view the recordings if you don’t want view them in your car. To view the recordings in the car, you need to download the app and also have to be close enough to the camera or the WiFi won’t work. So far so good!

First impressions? This might just be the best boxed dash cam on the market. It delivers a strong initial impact with its sleek design and premium feel. I installed it in my BYD EV. The setup was fairly straightforward. The front camera records can 4K, while the rear captures in 2.5K. It’s a bit bulkier than my previous unit, and I found the voice commands a little flaky (Perhaps my Aussie accent threw it off). The rear camera is IP67 waterproof rated (whatever that means), which allows for external installation. I opted to mount it inside the car to avoid drilling into my new vehicle. That said, the rear mount is clearly designed for external use near the number plate, which makes internal placement a bit awkward. One gripe I have is with the collision detection; it's overly sensitive. Speed bumps and potholes frequently trigger photo captures. Still, I’d rather have it err on the side of caution than miss someone sideswiping my car and driving off without a trace. Cons * Installation Challenges: The cable placement on the right side feels awkward; top-mounted would’ve been better. * Limited Mount Movement: The front camera mount lacks flexibility. A redesign could improve adjustability. * Rear Cable Routing: I had to run the rear camera cable through a panel near the airbag. Hopefully, this won’t be an issue in an accident, but it’s a concern shared across most dash cams. Overall, despite a few quirks, this dash cam stands out for its video quality and brilliant design. If Vantrue can refine the mounting and cable layout in future models, they’ll have an unbeatable product.

N4PRO同様、録画映像の綺麗さには十分満足しています。 また、ホームビデオでドラレコ映像を使用することがあるのですが、アプリから動画の抜き取りや確認が簡単にできるのもとても助かります。 通常録画時も操作（カメラ映像の切り替えなど）に煩雑性はないため、運用においても比較的わかりやすいと思います。

Ohhhhh it was a life savior to us . Few weeks back we got into a car accident , someone just smashed our car from the trunk side and the presence of the dash cam was a life savior as it recorded the whole thing and made it hastle free for procedures as we had proof not being at fault . So I truly insist anyone who wants to feel protected to have one in their cars .

Die Bildqualität in 4K ist tagsüber extrem detailliert – Kennzeichen und wichtige Details sind klar erkennbar. Auch bei Nacht liefert die Kamera ein überzeugendes Ergebnis mit guter Helligkeit und solider Schärfe. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Mehrkanal-Aufnahme (Front/Innen/Heck je nach Setup): Man hat im Zweifel wirklich alles dokumentiert, was auf der Straße oder am Fahrzeug passiert. Die Bedienung ist logisch, die Menüs sind verständlich, und die Kamera wirkt hochwertig verarbeitet. Der Parkmodus (mit Hardwire-Kit) gibt zusätzlich Sicherheit, und die Loop-Aufnahme funktioniert zuverlässig – man muss sich im Alltag um nichts kümmern. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Kombination aus Qualität, Funktionen und Alltagstauglichkeit. I bought this dash cam for my car and I’m really glad I did. From the day it arrived it felt solid and well-built, not some cheap gadget that you worry will break. Setup was pretty easy, the mount slides in smoothly, it connects with the cable without fuss, and the instructions did the job. Once it was in, I drove around in daylight and then came a night drive to test it out. The video quality is seriously good for the price. You can clearly see license plates, even with weird lighting, headlights, shadows and all that. The rear and interior cams also give extra peace of mind. I love that it has GPS so it records where you’ve been and how fast you were going (super handy if something happens). The WiFi app is useful too, no need to pull the memory card just to check clips. The parking-monitoring mode is also a big plus: I park on the street sometimes, and it’s reassuring to know this will catch motion or an impact while I’m not in the car. If I had to pick a downside: the price is higher than very basic dash cams, but you do get what you pay for. Also make sure you install it neatly so cables are hidden and not dangling (that’s on me, not the product). In short, if you want a reliable, high-quality dash cam that covers front, rear, and inside views, this is a fantastic pick. I’m happy with it and feel a lot safer driving with it installed.
