I was looking for a comfortable single seater recliner chair that I could use daily, not just occasionally, and this one is just perfect. If you don’t have a lot of space but still want that laid-back comfort, it's for you! The seat recliner is very supportive. I’ve spent long hours on this chair while working on my laptop or watching movies, and it doesn’t feel stiff. This motorized recliner chair functions smooth and easy to use. Best part? It fits in my tiny Mumbai living room! It's the appropriate size for a single person to sit and enjoy. The product is advertised by the company as having a German Engineered Mechanism on their own website and all of their ecommerce channel partners. However, the company is not utilizing the German Engineered Mechanism for all recliner units shipped to customers. Instead, they are manufacturing these recliners with a Chinese brand mechanism from a company called ReMacro Technology Co. Ltd (RMT). The company used to manufacture the recliner units with a German mechanism from a brand called DewertOkin in the past, but continues to advertise their recliners as having a German mechanism despite changing the suppliers internally. These new Chinese mechanisms are of lower quality and do not have the same footrest incline angle as their German counterparts. Additionally, their recliner units with the Chinese RMT mechanism do not have the seating width advertised in their Product Dimensions section (17 inches). Instead, they have a seating width of barely 12 inches. The units with the Okin mechanism used to have the seating width as per specification. A comparison can be drawn based on the pictures attached. Please avoid buying this model for your own sanity as you will never know what kind of unit you will get. Quality control is pretty much non-existent.
