H98-510-S tankless Water Filter Parts for Rinnai Tankless Water Heater Inlet Screen Assembly (2 PACK) (H98-510-S (2 pack))

Replaced a 9 year old filter on my Rinnai. The washer on these new ones is smaller so I just replaced the white filter piece which snaps in easily. These are great to replace as they filter larger items from your water. The picture is of the old hunker up filter I replaced.

Well made product. I had my plumber install it earlier this year and I haven’t had any issues so far.

The supplied O-ring on the new filter is slightly too small causing a steady drip. Be careful when removing the old filter and transfer the old O-ring onto the new filter. You can see the difference in size when visually comparing them. The picture of the product on Amazon shows the correct O-ring. What actually came was noticablyl smaller.

I was so impressed with the filter

Used this on a rinnai on-demand RL 94 water heater (propane gas).Replacement filters leaked; both of them. I compared the replacement o rings to the original and it was clear that the diameter of the material (thickness) of the replacements were smaller. Had to go to hardware store and get a #12 O ring. Used this #13 O ring with replacement filters…… no leaks. Try replacing your O ring with #12 before buying this complete replacement.

As described. Filtering the incoming water in my house now. No complaints.
