This particular hood prop grommet fits perfectly for the 2005 Scion xB. Simply slip it onto the hood prop and position it correctly and it pops right in. Absolutely satisfied 100%.

This fits the toyota rod that comes w the car, however, it did not fit in the hole where the previously grommet was originally placed. Several broke whole attempting to fit them.

There are ten grommets and they are all exactly the same size. I suppose they the most common size and work for most cars but did not work for me. Beware because even though I looked up my specific car model and year and the site said it is was the correct one it was not. I had to return it and order the OEM part from a different source.

Despite being labeled an Amazon Confirmed Fit, this grommet does not fit the prop rod on my 2006 Toyota Sienna without modification. I measured the inner diameter of these grommets at just under 7.5 mm and the original prop rod is over 8.3 mm. And, these are supposed to fit the rod loosely enough to maneuver it up to the hood, and back down to the catch. After spending time with a needle file, I was able to get the prop rod in. And, it does mount to the car with a satisfying snap. But, now I have to worry if I'll be replacing them regularly with the reduced wall thickness of the plastic.

Dose not work on 2018highlander. Keeps breaking while installing
