I read where dragonflies like to land on tall sticks, so I bought a bunch of these to poke in all my plants around my pool. I also plan to use them in my garden as stakes. Actually, I can think of a lot of things to use these for. Just a good thing to have on hand. I can see these being pretty handy for Bible School crafts as well. They are super skinny, yet so strong. I have now staked a number of my plants with these natural bamboo stakes and so far, I have been very pleased with their size and durability. There are 50 stakes in one pack and the overall size and thickness was very consistent. I am using these with young veggies, tomato plants, and pitcher plants. What I especially like with these natural bamboo stakes vs. the wood dowel types is that my garden twine STAYS IN PLACE as there a several natural bumps and seams in the bamboo that help prevent the twine from sliding down over time.
