Can this food be used with mini macaws such as a Severe, or is it too large?

It is very large. I also have a gold cap conure and I do not feed this to him. Not sure how big of a bill a mini macaw has. I have a blue and gold and their bills are very large.

If you don't feed your bird properly they are at risk for a host of health issues. Kaytee is not healthy for birds, and they will live a much shorter life.

Why has this food doubled in price in the last year and a half? I paid $37.49 for it a year and a half ago and $49.99 for it just last July.
