best canned fish company on the planet, both taste and quality
This was a treat, out of my budget most of the time but so well worth it, and saved a couple cans to add into friend's christmas boxes. love their smoked tuna in olive oil too, first bought it in San Diego where they are located, and have been obsessed since. A little saltier than most--I like salt so not a problem but would not want it any saltier--it's at the upper limit as far as salty taste goes. My everyday brand is SafeCatch, but buy this kind every chance I get.

Great tuna, dented cans
I tried this tuna before and liked it very much, so I ordered 6 cans. 3 of them were dented. I don't know if the tuna is safe to eat. Amazon gave me a credit. But I am very disappointed.

Great tuna. Horrible Amazon shipping.
Product is great. I would give it 5 stars, but Amazon ruined the chances of that by delivering the six cans in a plastic bag, which is likely why every can is dented. Now I’m questioning how long the remaining cans will last on the shelf. How can someone think it’s fine to ship canned food in a plastic bag rather than a properly fitted box? Amazon needs to do better. I’ll wait an extra day for delivery if that’s how long it takes for the packaging employee to find a proper box and packaging material.

Great Catch!
You may have grown up with "Charlie, the Tuna" on Saturday morning kids' shows, but this line-caught (not net scooped) found a more respectful fate for man, fish, and can. Sorry, Charlie, this is more like the King Charles, who has a kingdom while this tuna has an ocean: you can tell the difference between what's royal and what's wholesale when you pop open the can: the color's different, reddish, and so is the texture, plump and healthy throbbing, a different kind of can, and a very different, healthier kind of tuna. It made an instant impact on our family table. We would leave Charlie to the cartoon shows and order this superior product. Melt or Nicoise?P.S. An update. Does a tuna really care if it's caught at the end of a fishing line (old school) or trapped in an industrial net? Apparently it does. Would you care if you were an individual creature of God or a cog? The sheer color and freshness of this canned tuna might argue its case. But beware: its pull ring to open the can be as lethal as a fishing knife-- so unless you have steel hands, please use a good can opened and then a screwdriver to prey open the lid. You get the tuna without a trip to the ER-- and you can do it safely, even with a glass of wine.

Most delicious tuna ever!
I love this tuna. I've been trying to find canned tuna that actually has texture besides discards and isn't dry as a crisp. This is the moistest, most delicious tuna I've ever bought. Though it is the most expensive, I think it's worth it, because of the amount you get in a can, and the fact that you don't really need to drain it. I will definitely be purchasing again!

Best canned tuna ever
Thought I'd give this a try and boy-howdy am I glad I did. Best canned tuna I ever had. Packed in water, a bit salty so I'd recommend not adding salt before you try it. Flakey, white, and sweet. Looking forward to trying it in tuna cakes. You'll like it. The large can size is also a great idea.
