Handle works well but the screws that came with it were a joke! Way too small to hold handle in place firmly. I used longer and sturdier ones I had.

It works well on our basement door, so grandkids have to wait for us to go downstairs.

Labeled as a shed latch, but has zero durability for outdoors. Rusted in the first season.

The barn door hardware kit I ordered didn’t included a latching mechanism to lock the doors together, so I ordered this latch to complete the installation. I like the simple design that’s consistent with the barn door hardware. It does a great job of latching the doors together easily and securely. The only downside is that the black finish is shinier than I was expecting so it doesn’t quite match the satin finish of the other hardware. It’s simple. It works. It’s easy to install.
