Essential for reducing hose size
It’s a simple connector to join two different hose sizes. Hard plastic but seems robust and I had an earlier one that was in place for many years without any issues. You do need to take a bit of care not to throw it around given it is plastic. I’ve not found to many alternatives out there so tend to stick with this brand.

Be careful to check connection sizes
I received and opened this product only to find its not a standard connector size within the UK. I'm sure the product is ok otherwise but as I had opened I felt I could not return.

Water stop connector listed with Profi connectors and described as Profi connector but it is not, it is a normal sized hozelock connector for a 3/4” hose. Not compatible with any other item on this page. Misleading and a waste of time
