OK, I think these might be the best socks I have purchased in several years. These are knee socks, as in they go up to the knee all the way, not halfway through the calf not below the calf but all the way to the knee. If that’s not what you’re looking for, don’t get these. But it is what I was looking for. That being said, I have wide calves, and these socks are flexible, comfortable, they don’t bind or leave marks on my legs, and yet somehow they magically stay up all day. They are soft and comfortable and feel warm, but are breathable. They have reinforced toes and sole and overall these are my favorite socks.

I’ll probably get the grippy ones to go over his braces next. I bought the large socks. I think these would squeeze people who are big big (nothing like the regular socks but, still) so maybe get the extra extra Width ones. There is definitely extra room for his ankle and foot. The very top of the sock is finished. Not just cut. The part that looks like a seam on the toe isn’t adding extra thickness, It’s actually the opposite. I put one on to test it out, it’s staying up and goes all the way up just to under my knee cap. I did a little check just to add to the review and these could actually get this over not only his braces alone, but also the entire shoe, so super stretchy. The part that hold the foot is super super soft and a little thicker than the rest although more stretchy, not less. I kind of want some of these now too.

Some of the best, most comfortable socks I've bought! I wear size 9.5 women's shoe and there was plenty of toe room. I got the ones with different-colored soles. This helps me get them on with the heel in the right place, because they don't have an obvious-shaped heel. But they are not like tube socks that gather at the inside of the ankle. There was no extra fabric there to make wrinkles from swelling. The leg part is softly stretchy, with one tight band at knee height to keep them up. I wore them for hours comfortably with no swelling!

Socks comfortable but I don’t like the fact that after you get them they say you should hand wash them and lay flat to dry. I don’t like that, what a nusance

Best socks ever! If you have swelling in your feet and ankles from edema, or neuropathy burning and numbness these socks can help tremendously. They're tight enough too help but not so tight that you can't sleep in them. So glad I ordered them.

I washed the socks before wearing. I had black fuzz from inside sock on my toes when I took them off. I bought because it said no pilling and I wanted room on my calves. I like the roominess of the leg portion. I have small calves so I can’t speak to how it would feel on large calves. I just know I didnt have the nasty sock imprint nor did my skin itch like when I take off tight socks after a long day in them. Good purchase.

As someone who has tree trunk, sturdy ,turkey legs from the fair ,legs , these are absolutely the best! They come all the way up to my knees ,generally stay in place, and are actually cute. I wear these for work almost everyday and I can tell my legs and ankles don't hurt after my shift. I was iffy about the price(I'm cheap) but honestly with how nice they are holding up definitely worth it!

Great socks for my husband who has difficulty getting a fit around his calves. Also, these socks are very comfortable.
