Works great, moderately difficult
Instructions were clear enough, assembly is straight forward but time consuming if you insist on soldering as I do. My truck is older so steering wheel controls were not part of the install. Finished and installed works great, used it to install a Boss touch screen system in my truck to replace less capable OEM head unit.

Works
This worked on my 2005 Chevy 2500HD. All you have to do is cut the right wire and hook it up correctly

It works
The standard harness wiring kits I tried would not work..they would enable the security system in the car and the car would not stsrt.. not so with this wiring kit..it works perfectly with the system and does not interfere with the security system this kit costs a little mote, bit well worth it.

Perfect for 2005 Tahoe with Bose (normal/non-premium)
It retains steering wheel controls, and door chime in a 2005 Tahoe with Bose normal (non premium). Everything I needed it to be. Highly recommendThe chime is very quite. I wish it was a bit louder or played through the car speakers. Only con.

Malfunctions after 2 weeks
Returned product for a replacement and the replacement was faulty as well. Didnt last a full month and stopped working. Waste of money

Works great! Easy hookup. Module provides ACC power which is not on vehicle harness.
Great solution for your GM vehicle if not needing Onstar! Worked perfectly on 2005 Trailblazer. Comes with steering wheel control connection, but was unused in my application. Retains chimes, although quieter, but that's preferred anyways for me. Wire to aftermarket stereo harness and done. More economical than other similar products out there. No searching for ACC switched power under the dash!

Great part for your install
Half the price of the old kit I use to run. Cheaper and quicker install without looking for a signal. Literally plug and play and my steering wheel controls work perfect.
