Very Sturdy, Great Product!
We had to return this item because we ended up not being able to use it, because of a loss of the ability to transfer and the need for a full length bed rail, right after it arrived, but the seller was very kind in allowing us to return it, and we could tell upon opening it that the product was very nice, very solid and sturdy, and would have been very effective for what we would have used it for, if we had still had need of it. It's a pricey item, but I can see why people would pay for it. It's premium quality.

Very wobbly!
The media could not be loaded. We’ve had another product purchased through Amazon that we loved, but we are moving my dad into a nursing home & this Halo is the only one allowed. It’s a pain to install & because it comes in 2 pieces, it’s not nearly as stable. If you are buying this for home & are not required by a facility to get a certain one, you can find much cheaper & much better options than this one!

No more falls
Bought for my father who was having trouble getting out of bed. Was the only style that his assisted living facility would accept. He has not fallen getting out of bed since installed. Installed easily on his hospital style bed.

Only good for ambulatory patient
Does NOT prevent falls. All of the clip pins for height adjustment have broken... and I bought 2 halos! At $400. each the parts should be durable. I only purchased these because of state requirements for assisted living. I now have to move my husband to a nursing home. He has fallen out of bed so many times and hit his head. These are handy for an older person to pull up to a sitting position... but a VERY expensive choice. If not required by law, I would not buy these.

So expensive
This product was so small. It would maybe help an elderly person sit up in bed but will not stop them from rolling out.Very expensive for what you get.Must likely the reason being it’s the only one approved by the assisted living facility.

Super.
My Mom says this is the best bed handle she's ever used. It's easy to install. It's sturdy. It's the only kind they allow in her assisted living home. Only 2 slight drawbacks. It's crazy expensive. And it doesn't allow the hospital bed to go fully flat.
