I bought this cable to connect my Shure MV7 Professional Microphone using through XLR port due to an issue with my Type C port and i can't stress enough how bad the recording quality is. I can confirm this cable is not compatible with SHRE mices.

ダイナミックマイク SENNHEISER E-845をこのケーブルでPCと繋ぎ、カラオケ☆DAMを楽しんでいます。 他のケーブルも試したが、どれもマイクの音量が上がらず、半ば諦めかけていたが、ダメもとで使ってみた所 ようやく満足のいくケーブルに出会えた。 アプリのカラオケ設定には、マイクの音量調整が標準(0)から±15の30段階あり、他のケーブルはMAX15にしても音量が上がらなかったが、このケーブルだと標準でも十分な音量になる。 PCのみでは十分な音量とは言えないが、歌の練習と精密採点で遊ぶには十分だろう。 私の場合、これだけでは物足りないので、PCの音をDESCOVERERのカラオケアンプに繋ぎ、更にホームシアターシステムに繋いで7.2.2chで再生し、PCの映像はHDMIで65インチのTVに入力している。 カラオケアンプにはSENNHEISER E-945 を繋いでいるが、今回購入したケーブルもPCを介してホームシアターシステムから音が出るので、精密採点も同時に楽しめるようになった。 カラオケ好きが集まるので、みんなに楽しんで貰えそうだな。

Basically a plug and play cable. I am using an SM58 and it sounds great for the PowerPoint voice overs I am doing. Very happy with the quality and length of cable for desktop use.

Acquired item for review. Versus purchasing a dedicated USB mic this little adapter was a perfection solution, XLR to USB A. As soon as I connected to my Shure mic, then the USB port to my laptop it started a driver update, then within a minute or two it was up and running. Sure using a good quality mic via a USB port is a little bit of over kill but why not when you already have the microphone. All in all very pleased and a great adapter. No fuss and works straight away.
