Replaced 99 Honda CRV. Like other reviews it mentioned that not thick enough gaskets. It helped me using a standard garden hose gasket from home depot, Lowe's or any hardware store to give out a better contact on both sides of the glass. I put garden hose gaskets on inside bc they were red. It also helped pushing down the doubled exterior gaskets while installing each one. Hope this helps. 🤞

Fixes the problem with shocks coming loose from aluminum part failure. but this replacement part fits good in this 98 honda crv but will not tighten down enough to keep water out needs 2 rubber washers on glass to snug it up. might have better results on different model cars

Save some cash and don't buy OEM. Buy these instead. Much better quality than OEM. These are built to last. Easy install.

Does NOT fit 92-95 EG glass. Even with a gasket on the glass on both sides of this hardware, the hardware threaded end designed to work with the struts protrudes, making it impossible to get pressure on the rubber seals. NOT at all like OEM in any way. Either the stem needs to be shorter, or the rubber gaskets thicker. Can't use.

Hey hey at 1400 hours today I got my shipment in it took me an 1/2 hour to change both of them out and put the new Stuts in to. The easiest way to get those caps out of the glass is, get a screwdriver and a little hammer and tap them from the inside out, just be careful that you won't break your glass and no I didn't break my glass, the old struts I had to take out with a 12 mm the new one I put in with a 13 deep socket is recommended I would say. By the way do not throw away your old washer, that's why I just gave it a four-star, because I had to use the old washers to make it sit tight, it comes with two washers each but it is not thick enough, so either buy a new one or just use the old one like I did, have fun installing this product ,by the way I installed it on my 1996 that's correct '96 Honda CRV😎✌️
