GREAT FOR MY ROOF!
I am so glad I purchased this one. I have a metal roof and we had a great deal of snow this year. It had to be at least a foot up there if not more. I used the roof melt pucks as well. They are slow going, but do the job. I had to get that extra weight off. This worked wonders. I am only 5'3, I like to see what I am doing so I took my indoor 4- step ladder out on my deck to stand on so I could see where I was putting this rake at. Don't do what I do. The snow and ice was at midway of the roof so I only had to use two of the extensions to reach that part. It was easy to place the rake on the pile of wet snow and once the rake hit that snow it dug into the snow and I was able to pull and pull and away it came sliding down all snow and thick ice. I kept moving down the way and I had all of that off of this section of my roof in 15 minutes. I let my husband shovel all of the heavy wet snow and ice off of the deck. There was ALOT of it. This thing is sturdy and I am happy with this product.

Lightweight and Durable
Got this rake to get wet leaves off the roof. I was surprised how lightweight it was and the extension poles easy to assemble for required length. Handle grip is a good feature. Width of rake provides decent capture of leaves. Only issue is the 2 rollers on bottom of rake. First use and one fell off and got lost in the leaves. Took the other one off to keep from losing it. Need the rollers to guide rake head. Got to figure it out. All in all, a great inexpensive way to get leaves off a ranch-style roof without getting on a ladder. Put a tarp down and raked directly into it. Easy Cleanup. Would buy again.

Not sturdy edge and wheels fall off
Wheels keep falling off even before it’s used. Need to remove wheels and bolt on a edge blade

Great Moss Remover!
This wheels just over the roof, so the moss peels off, without contact with the roof.

This product sure made a challenging task a lot easier.
I spent considerable time reviewing the different snow rakes. Even though I doubted the value of the snow slide, there were other features that I liked. Like it not having a cross bar that would get in my way when dealing with really deep snow, which I did have. Well, I found out what the snow slide was for. I was amazed when almost an entire sweep of my roof would come sliding down off the roof. This is a neat item. I made a good decision. It is very sturdy and easy to disassemble and pack away.

Effective but fragile
Roof snow rake does what it promises. The downside is it's flimsy. It's just a matter of time before I break it.20 feet of aluminum bends ALOT when picked and manipulated from the distal end. After successfully clearing snow from my shallow pitched roof I took apart the 4 foot sections to store the rake components in the garage. My string trimmer stored nearby fell from the wall it leaned against and put a serious dent in the rake blade. I would have gladly paid more for a more sturdy thickness of aluminum. Richard B.

Looks Promising But Parts That You Assemble Do NOT Align Properly
I just bought this product, and it looks promising, but there are issues with assembling the blade to the curved-pole head. Namely, the support braces that secure the blade to the curved pole head do NOT align properly to use the short screws provided for assembly. The angle at which each support brace bends at the end to allow each one to attach to the blade and to the pole is NOT sufficient to allow the ends of the blades to lay flat on the pole-and-blade where you insert screws to secure them. The support braces are a little too short. The screws you use to attach them are also too short to receive the nut that goes on these screws. I had to use longer screws, washers and nuts and secure the support braces in a way that forced the screw holes to align well enough with the pole and blade to create a secure attachment. The long screws work, but they are crooked, because of the misalignment. In other words, the parts were not machined precisely enough to attach with the hardware included. Be prepared to use a couple of longer screws. Otherwise, the product looks like it will work.
