Is this ready to use after mixing with water or does one have to also add sand for repointing a flint wall?

Hi you need to add sand. Not builders sand but plastering sand. I am told but not used childrens play sand apparently gives a really smooth finish, mix 1 part line to 4 parts sand.

Is this a ready mix or just the lime?

Hello. This is just the lime and it comes out lighter than the pre mixed lime with sand.
