Purchased for ASMR. SPRI Gym Chalk is great for ASMR. Let me talk about the packaging first. SPRI wrapped each block in white paper, what we normally receive, but went a step farther and wrapped every block with an additional level of protection, plastic wrap as well. Every block was perfect, no broken blocks, or even a dusty box. All intact, chef's kiss on the packing. I consider this a soft block but snappy. After crush it leaves pieces but it was quite easy to powder down with my hands. No burden on the hands to break up, 🙌 and very inexpensive. The texture and consistency was soft but snappy. I loved it. This chalk seems like it should cost more due to its presentation in packaging and perfect texture. If you like soft, snappy chalk this is for you. I'm buying again. 🩷🖤🩷🖤

It's chalk. It is good chalk. I use it for climbing and it's great for that.

I like it it's pretty good

I use this chalk for indoor rock climbing and it works well. I know some has specific brand name preferences and particle size favorites.. but this does the job for the right price!

This chalk was amazing. It came intact and was relatively soft and smooth to crush since I use it for ASMR purposes. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were some that were pretty hard and was a challenge to crush, but that was like 3 or 4 blocks out of the 2 boxes I ordered. It was an overall great experience!

Other pre crushed climbing chalks seem to be a lot more pricey than these, and I would opt to buy this pack again—although it would take a couple years to get through all this chalk alone. I don't know why I was expecting the 2oz bricks to be bigger than they arrived but by no means are they a small amount of chalk, especially after being crushed. I have sweaty palms, so I am constantly chalking up, yet I am still less than halfway through my first block of chalk after a month. I don't see reason in paying more for premium chalks when blocks like these have practically the same texture and an indistinguishable difference in grip.

Soft, breaks down easily, sticky. Noticeably improves grip.

Update: had to come back and update the review. The price is back down and the seller added extra 20% off coupon. We purchased it again. I am now hoping the quality will be as good as before Great for crushing. Very easy to crush and satisfying. I had to give only 2 stars because I was shocked about was the price increase. I just bought it abt 2 weeks ago for my daughter and I to enjoy crushing together. I came back today to buy another pack since we enjoyed our selves so much but the price had skyrocketed. I both the 8 pack for less than $15 and is whooping $31 today for the same amount of blocks. I love the chalk and will buy it again in a second if the price goes back down. I’m really disappointed. I have to go find another now.
