Fantastic looking pen , refills easily available, good quality

The refill that was in the pen when it arrived didn't work, however I changed it for one of the two spares that came with it and it works perfectly. It is really nice to write with.

UPDATE I have found the ink flow in my opinion improves significantly with further use so think it is only fair to update. For this reason I have increased the rating to 5 stars. Great product! I am quite an enthusiast for pens and for many years regarded Parker pens as the best possible, followed perhaps by Cross and Waterman. (I know there are Sheaffer enthusiasts too!). In my opinion they have all lost ground in recent years and their products have deteriorated - still good, but are they worth the price premium they demand? If you have tried a Scriveiner pen, for example, you'll know what I mean - the big brands are taking us as customers for granted and hoping we don't find amazing smaller brands like Scriveiner on Amazon. So this is my starting point for taking a look at the Zalantan Rollerball. I feel it's a very good design and manufacture, a metal pen rather than plastic, and an overall appearance and feel of quality. Good colour options. It comes in a nice box with a refill installed in the pen and 2 spare refills in a velvety case. Good presentation! If you've seen the awful Parker pen boxes you get at the moment then you'll know why I think this makes a difference. I feel though in this case there can be an issue with ink flow. The flow is not the best although this is all fairly subjective and Parker ink flow can be terrible anyway. This pen has in some reviews been called scratchy and I can see why this could be your opinion. I found it was an issue too, although It's all a balance, and I believe there is a fine line between not getting enough ink and getting too much. Here I must mention the outstanding Zalantan customer service! I shared my concerns with them and they very rapidly replied (in the space of an hour) with good options. Just try sharing any similar concerns with the big pen brands and waiting at the least a week for any reply because in my experience they are really taking customers for granted. So my advice would be to take a look at this pen -- a good product, well designed and made -- with an issue on ink flow which I'm aware might affect some and not others. In any case you can rely on their exceptional customer service to listen and respond rapidly if there are issues.

Love the pen, good weight , great design, but the cartridges that it comes with (1 inside pen, 2 extra) are not great, the ink flow is poor which means when writing it stops and starts, and it makes the pen scratch when you write which ruins the feel when writing . I have ordered some different cartridges and will update if they are any better **UPDATE 10/07/2024** Bought some "Zelo" replacement cartridges and the pen is much better , no more scratching and the ink flow is smooth

Lovely pen to handle as it has a good weight to it. The rollerball tip is smaller than I have used previously (cheap disposable) which makes the script neater and looks professional. The additional 2 refills and the pen sleeve makes a welcome addition. Recommend this

I struggled to get this pen to perform, generally speaking the experience was scratchy and for the price point it did not feel premium. Sizing was ok, as well as the pen cap clip feeling rigid, but the tip of the pen itself ruined the writing experience regardless of inks

The supplied refill that came in the pen did not fit - it slid up and down. Sent an email asking for advice - no response. Had to pack it out with cardboard to stop it sliding. Poor ink flow from the no name unmarked cartridge and very scratchy ball. Save your money, I threw it in the bin.
