KastKing Kapstan Elite Spinning Reel, High Speed Saltwater Spinning Reel, Size 6000

Hubby loved it on his last keys trip!

I got from them 8-10 their top modle reels, 2 fishing rods, back packs. Reels are great while they work. 2 of the 300 elite (their top model) stated squeeking at the beginning of October 2025. 10 months into usage. I call their customer support. Left message. Guy called back. Told me they do not have facility now for repairs. Asked me to go to the website fill put warranty form and they will send me 2 new replacement reels back. That was last time I heard from them. Tried contacting them Nov 29th, Dec 2nd, today. Nothing. No call back, no contact, no reels. Customer support after purchase is no good. Warrnaty is no good in my case. Consider other options before buying this one. They work great till they break. No support from Kastking. Now, I cannot even leave them voiceail. Busy signal.

I love the reel and the box it comes in looks awesome as well. I was disappointed to discover the box was damaged after opening the Amazon box. No damage or scratches to the reel but I would have liked to have a nice box to keep it in.

Delivered to the house on time and Reel very well packaged from KastKing for item protection. For a spinning reel of this size compared to others, is a little bit heavier do due all the components that are involved within the built-in. Feel smooth and seems to hold a lot of braided fishing line. Bail is not automatically closed so it has to be manually closed. Also I tested it with all drag tight and it doesn't move meaning that it can hold some very large fish fight. At the moment it has not been assigned to a fishing rod but I could come back for an update after fishing with it.

I went with the 6000. First off the Kapstan reel looks amazing. It feels extremely durable, but still as smooth as butter. The drag feels very consistent, smooth, and there is plenty of room for adjustment. I'm very hard on my gear, and every Kast King reel I've owned has stood up to my abuse and I have no doubt this one will too. So far I couldn't be happier with it. It feels like a luxury reel that's worth the price for sure. Great reel that I'm sure will make easy work of some big fish.
