Based on the low price I had my doubts for this measuring device, but works great, its small, seems to be fairly accurate, and is easy to use. We'll see how long it lasts, but I'm impressed so far. Like others have said, this is definitely meant for indoor use, I don't think the laser would go far outside.

Good enough for my purposes, but I'm not a surveyor or anything like that. I can't speak to pinpoint accuracy because I'm not concerned with it for my hobbiest applications. I used it to zero a red dot scope, so all I needed was close enough, and I feel very confident I got that. I read other reviews that said it can't overcome outdoor, broad daylight application, so I tried that out of curiosity and found that it didn't work for me at high noon in the AZ sun. Asit happens, I don't need it to, but if you do, this might not be the best choice. The LED screen wasn't really bright enough for that either.I used it indoors, the LED screen was good, basic functions were intuitive enough that I never even glanced at the instructions, and it's a handy and convenient size. It's recommendable as an inexpensive solution depending on your requirements

This device was easy to use and seems to be very accurate for my needs. The laser worked in both close quarters and across the entire expanse of my house. It also has built in functionality to calculate square footage and volume. It's quite small, so it's easy to manipulate and carry around. Directions could be better, but overall, I'm happy with this.

This is small and lightweight but seems accurate, functions as advertised. Bright color, quick and easy to see. Battery is still fine.

Using this product to measure tree distances from structures. I dropped my old one a few too many times and needed replacing. The laser of my old one could be seen in the middle of the day, and I got this one thinking that laser strength was normal. Unless it's super dark or cloudy the laser can't be seen more than four or five feet away.This one is probably more for indoor use, it's not made for the bright outside.

It doesn’t do the job it is meant to do. There are many limited scenarios like in daylight laser light is hardly visible, it is inaccurate at both short and long distances.
