Worked as expected. Even if is not the original it fit perfect.

Bought this as a replacement battery for my Dell E6420 laptop. It fit perfectly and took a charge easily. So far, it has worked well powering the laptop when out its docking station.

I replaced the worn out battery in an older Dell 7520. It's known to be a very power hungry laptop, but this replacement seems to be holding up great.

The seller lists this battery as compatible with a Dell E6230 (pic 1). As you can see between the old Dell battery and this new, generic battery, this product does not fit a Dell E6230 (pic 2).Now I have the inconvenience of ordering the correct battery from another seller and returning this one to the UPS store for a refund.Bad experience all around.

Fits perfectly in the laptop but unfortunately since I have this particular battery the computer freezes randomly. I thought it was the laptop overheating or the video cooler coming off the video controller. After checking the video cooling sink and fan and finding no dirt or hair plugs in it, tested the laptop with the old battery; no freezing at all.I am suspecting possibly a bad cell in the battery, but now it is too late to return it. Possibly one of those products that passed theough QA without being noticed.
