I'd say order the set
I can't yet speak for the longevity of the brushes, but they do seem to work well. Overall design is simple and the brush seems well put together- so I'm hoping they will last a long time. The standard of defense is to always keep the carboys clean and then sanitize before you are ready to use. I use Starsan. The carboy brush seems to work well in 3 & 5 gallon carboys. The rod is flexible enough I would think to use in the 6 gallons and greater I would think. The tip has the pad as well so it cleans the area around the punt thoroughly.Edit: A simple concept that has made cleaning easier. It continues to work well. There will be an occasional bottle that it can't clean, but better odds than I had before for sure.

Doesn't clean hard deposits. Works good as long as the bottles don't have any real sediment.

Works for all sizes of jugs and carboys
I did a lot of looking around at the alternatives for cleaning carboys and jugs available... The brushes are OK for spot cleaning, but to get an entire krausen ring cleaned off can be a real chore with one. The other main option for cleaning carboys, that attaches to a drill, has a hard insert, which I'm sure makes it great for the specific size it was intended for, ie a full-size 5-6 gallon jug. I use mainly smaller 1-gallon or 4-liter glass jugs, and that would not have worked for me... this unit, with it's flexible shaft, and soft chamois-type material, although not super quick with the job, is more flexible, and does a great job on my small jugs, as well as my full-size 6-gallon carboy.Just a note about using it with the 5-6 gallon carboy, however... trying to use it straight from the center, allowing the spinning head to get all sides at once is not as effective as utilizing the bendable quality of the shaft and going in at an angle, getting one side at a time, , and then turning the bottle a quarter turn to get the next section.. still did a great job.As another comenter mentioned, I can not vouch yet for the longevity of this product, but I have already cleaned 30+ 1 gallon jugs, and a couple of the big 5 gallon ones.OK, a separate not about the bottle cleaner... I have only used it a couple times, as I usually have pretty good luck with just my bottle washer that shoots water up into the bottle, however I tried it on a couple of 12-ounce beer bottles. It did work well, but the unit was pretty tough to get in and out of the bottle, so not too convenient for that, but again effective if you have a stubborn bit of gunk inside.

Great product.
I could talk on and on about the dynamics of this set but the bottom line is that even though there is some wobbling and you have to stabilize it with your other hand while it spins. This is a MUST HAVE. Seriously just buy it. It saves a lot of time.... oh and make sure you have a good cleaner to use with it.

Bottle brush fell apart
I wouldn’t recommend the bottle brush because in my experience it fell apart before I got 2 dozen bottles washed. I used the carboy brush and that seemed to do the job but I’m concerned that over time it may fall apart like the bottle brush since they are made similar. These brushes are a good idea but they need to be made a little more robust so they can do the job a lot longer.

Worthless
This product attaches to the drill easy enough but it is totally useless. It just kinds of spins in the bottle and doesn't do a very good job of scrubbing off the residue. If you have a very active fermentation that bubbles and foam and leaves residue on the carboy, you are better off using the old school L-Shaped Carboy brush to work those tough areas. This product, specifically, suggests not pressing the cleaner against the bottle while the drill is in use which is what I need to do to clean the bottles. Save your money!

Seller Was Amazing!
I had ordered this for a Christmas gift for my father in law. I got the product very promptly and had no problems with it until I did a little digging and found I was supposed to have gotten 2 brushes and had only received one. The packaging was all ripped up and the brush was hanging out of it with tape around it to keep it from falling out. I contacted the seller who just requested I send him pictures of what it looked like when I got it. He acknowledged the weight and everything was correct when they sent it out so it must have been from the handling of the actual shipping company. He put the other brush in the mail and I got it right before Christmas! Whew! In today's world where people are constantly lying and trying to pull one over on each other to get free things, etc. I really appreciated the help from the seller and the fact that he got the other brush out SO quickly. My father in law loved it and found it was EXACTLY what he needed! Thanks!

Small one is tight for most beer bottles
Better than a wire bottle brush, but it's too fat to easily insert into most beer bottles. Sometimes it went in easy, sometimes I had to force it, but most of the time it was somewhere in the middle.
