Really handy timer
Really handy timer. We were going through water and wanted a way to stop the children taking 30 minute showers. This has done it! It's so simple to use and nothing mechanical to go wrong. It has a tendency to fall off the wall but you just wet the suction back and stick it back on to the tiles. For the savings it's worth that. Recommend

Failed within a week
Water ingress, failed within a week. Amazon refunded super quick but not a quality product, high price for something simple but when it doesn't even work its unacceptable

Do not put in direct stream of shower.
It condensates, unsurpirsingly if you put it directly in the stream of the shower. Put it out of the direct flow and it is fine. No complaints.

Effective - why don't the water companies issue these for free to all households?
This is a simple way to reduce your water consumption. Its effective because its prominent in the bathroom, and the sand is highly visible, and is a simple way to show how much time you have left before you need to turn the shower off. Its been effective to get us to make better use of the time in the shower. Our water consumption has decreased by about 10m3 per year. Our first one lasted about 2 years before it was broken by being knocked about. Why don't the water companies issue these for free to all households?

The worst thing I have ever bought
The product says it is a 4min timer. It is not, it's 3min 12 sec. If this was a 1h timer and it was wrong by almost a minute, it wouldn't be so bad, I guess, but this is a massive failure. The sucker would not stick to the tiles, so it had to go on the shower screen. Because the internal sides of the timer are quite flat, some sand stays there so you have to turn it right, then left. So, considering that the timer is wrong and the design is poor, I think this is the worst thing I have ever purchased. Very disappointed.

Starts to fail after a year of use.
This sticks well onto ceramic tiles.Only falls off perhaps once every 6 months. But after a year of use the sand starts to get stuck.Found lengthy showering was best reduced by turning down the maximum water temperature by a degree or two, and substituting with a back massager!
