How would this dig through rocky soil - some the size of of a large egg?

It will be difficult. I hit rocks planting acorns on my recently harvested forest area. I would move the location to drill until it worked.

Sturdy device.

Saw this on Amazon last year and bought it. Just been delivered after 2 months, but made in China, shipped to the USA, then to the UK. On face value seems an excellent tool for the keen gardener. Yet to put it through its paces. One BIG issue, the charger is an American plug! I had to buy an adapter, all sorted. However you'd think someone would have twigged plug compatibility before offering to sell in the UK.
