Exactly what we required as its easier to use than the old type ie under the tongue & gives accurate reading + it has the memory register which makes it easier to keep track sometimes on a daily basis which due to long term illness in the family we require - would definitely recommend & good value for money most definitely !

This works well and I would buy again.You need to understand that it works with the disposable plastic probe covers - no fit = no work!The other obvious point is that it is tricky to use by yourself. You can’t see the buttons or display screen when it is stuck in your ear!

This in ear thermometer is very easy to use. It shows temperature as a figure in a coloured background, orange low temp, green normal temp or red high temp. The replacement sleeves that fit over probe that goes in the ear are easy to replace, and replacement sleeves are readily available to purchase. It responds by making a beep when temperature has been taken and is ready to read. Replacing the sleeve is easy. The accuracy seems to be very good, I've taken temperature with the old mercury stick thermometer under tongue and got the same reading. It only takes a few seconds to record temperature. I would have given it five stars but the battery cover is a bit fiddly to remove. Overall this is a good value for money in ear thermometer it includes a fabric bag to keep it in.

PERFECT JUST WHAT I NEEDED.

A must have for every household easy to use quick and accurate

I am a lawyer and used to understanding documents but I could not figure out the so called instructions for this item and it is certainly not intuitive. It beeps when you press the button when you put it in your ear and it says it will beep again if it gets a reading but will also beep again if it doesn’t and then if you have to retest it will beep. How the hell you are supposed to know what the beep you hear is? If it beeps three times and you pull it out of your ear it gives you a high reading with a red screen but then goes green. In fact, all readings, regardless of colour or level all turn green after a second or so. You can’t just reset it and try again, you have to press the button for about 15 seconds to switch it off and leave it off for 30 seconds to reset it. Eventually realised a reference to needing two readings 10-15 seconds apart means you have to leave the device in your eye after the first beep until you get a second beep. However, I could only manage that on about every 7th go. Each time would give readings from 35.2 to 39.1 from the same ear. Eventually just dropped the whole thing in the bin as it was driving me made. This device is more expensive than most on Amazon but it is not worth it. It is not worth anything. Spend less of your money on something that has understandable instructions and that actually works.

Simple and very easy to use. Time will tell how long the battery will last. (batteries are quite cheap to buy online, so battery life not a big issue.) Just make sure you have the ear probe cover correctly attached and to pull up your ear lob up when taking a reading. I also purchase an oral thermometer, to compare temperature results. Happy with product I would recommend.

It claims the batteries are included. But seem to be missing in my order
