Value for money and happy with my purchase.
I recently purchased the External Blu-ray DVD Drive and it has been fantastic! The dual USB 3.0 and Type-C ports provide great compatibility with my devices, making it super convenient to use with both my Windows laptop and MacBook. The drive's performance is impressive, offering fast read and write speeds, and the 3D Blu-ray playback is a fantastic bonus. It’s lightweight and portable, perfect for on-the-go use. Overall, this drive is a reliable, high-quality solution for all my media needs. Highly recommended!

Simple plug and play option to play media disks
I had old DVDs and BluRay disks that I needed to be able to access when my father passed away (he liked to store photos on disks). Found this product and it was super affordable and easy to use. It is super convenient to transport since the USB cable is attached and has a nice little niche that it fits against, but I do wish it was a tad longer. But it was very simple to use, just plugged it into my laptop and it was seamless.

Waste of your money
Played one dics then stopped working and makes noise. Don't waste your money. I even tried different drivers and still didn't work. So I went to Staples and bought a new one. Not impressed at all.

Just did not work...
I had high hopes and paid more than I wanted to just to have a drive for laptop. The instructions were very cryptic, and I felt I had to figure it out myself mostly. The Cyberlink software was the easiest part to figure out. I could see the Blu-ray in file explorer and in the CyberLink software but in the end it did not work, it just froze. I had to uninstall about 7 programs that got installed, big mess. The description on Amazon says Win 11 but the directions do not list Win 11.

You must download additional software
Thank goodness my husband is more tech savvy than myself. As of right now we’re using the free trial software in order to play my Blu-ray Discs and it plays well but there is a watermark that bugs me. For the price the player works well but it’s hard justifying another purchase just to watch without a watermark.Overall I’m happy with the purchase, any disappointment I may have is likely due to my lack of research or too high of expectations. I am glad to have it and use it for now.
