I recently tried the Ivanka Intimate Beauty Soap, and it has quickly become a staple in my skincare routine! I am pleased with this product, despite initially being dubious of paying so much for a 'bar of soap'. I use it daily now as a part of my routine and I find it makes my skin feel tighter which is quite a nice sensation. It doesn't lather too well, but if anything that is a good thing as I think it will make the bar last a long time. I have been using for a month and it has not shrunk anywhere near as much as I thought it would. The smell is very pleasant too and using it really does make me feel fresh.

I tried this soap but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. After using it on my face, I experienced a burning sensation, redness, and irritation. I have sensitive skin, and it seems the strong acidic ingredients like kojic acid, glutathione, and lemon extract don’t suit me. I didn’t check the ingredients before buying, so that’s on me, but I won’t be using it on my face again. It might be fine for others, but it’s not for me.

The bar is easy to hold in the shower or you could do as I have been and lather it between wet hands and use in shower. Nice natural scent and the lather feels like silk on the face, no nasty ingredients to cause artificial foaming. It rinses off leaving no tightness or irritation, I do have a little pigmentation and shall be keeping a check for signs of improvement. Good sized bar should last a while.

Pleasing soap to use.. Gets a really slippy, soapy action up quickly. -a bit like when you're using soft water. Although not much of an actual lather (tight foam). But it rinses off quickly and easily, leaving skin literally squeaky clean. I like that effect. It has a nice appearance, a bit like Pears and a familiar, mild but nice fragrance I can't quite place. ... Citronella, perhaps. Packaging is unremarkable and brand name a bit odd. As for blotches and skin lightening, my blotchy skin changes with the seasons so I really can't attribute any changes to the soap.

The first thing that struck me was that the packaging looks very cheap. The box looks like something you’d find in a discount shop. They are currently charging £9.81 for a smallish bar of soap so it would be nice to have it well packaged. The soap itself is quite pleasant and lathers up well. The smell is ok rather than great. This is aimed at people wanting to lighten skin or patches of pigmentation and so it does have some relatively strong ingredients. Because of this it may not be suitable for very sensitive skin but is fine for the average person. Having tried this I found it to be a nice soap. I just feel that if it is being priced as a premium product they should make a bit of effort to make it look the part.
