It worked great and easy to start up and register
We bought this in Jan. & used it in Feb. for 2 weeks in Europe (Sicily, Malta & Germany) and it worked great. It connected within seconds of the phone being turned on. While I took instructions to handle potential issues based on online reviews (called the phone provider before leaving to ensure my device is not locked; remember to turn on Roaming; & how to check APN settings). I registered the account after my return to North America & it said I'd get a text within 5 days, but I wasn't in Europe so the sim wouldn't be working for me to get the text. I sent a message via support.travel.orange.com/hc (I think I got there from the faq page) and got an email reply in English within the hour. I was even able to reply to the email to ask a follow-up question. In hindsight it would have been easier to register the account while in Europe but it got done. I've now opened an online account (after the registration) to be able to process top-ups to keep the account active. That process went smoothly but I did have to wait until the account was registered to do this step and I did have to confirm my email with a code sent to it. I checked on the online account and it looks like I have the option to purchase the same 12 GB of data & 200 SMS for $21 at this time (will probably fluctuate with exchange rates I assume). Overall I was very happy with both the purchase with Amazon and with the Orange Sim and even their customer service.

Great product
Great product, easy to use. Worked like a charm. It works only when you are in Europe, so you will have to wait until you reach there. Will buy again for my next trip. Worth every penny.

Sim card did not work outside France as advertized
I bought this sim card planning to use it in France and UK. While in France the card worked well except for a pestering email saying I had to register or service would be terminated. I could not figure out some of the required details which were not like anything, I had ever had to do. I have registered for a least 1000 things in the past few years. Upon arrival in UK the card stopped working. As I do not speak French, I could not call Orange for assistance.. I had to resort to T-Mobile's $50 for 30 days of data which works fine

The only way to go when traveling abroad.
We just got back from a Mediterranean cruise and I got this for my husband’s phone. It worked perfectly. He installed it once we arrived in Barcelona and had phone service immediately. This is the way to go to avoid costly charges from US phone providers. If you run out of data, you can always top off in your Orange account. I bought the esim from the same company for my phone.

Worked great, see my comments for advice
I used this SIM card on a 12 day trip to southern Spain and Ireland. Here are some comments.About the service:- For reference, my phone is Android type.- Had very good service in the areas we were visiting. No complaints on service coverage.- Texting and phone calls worked seamlessly. I could not however, send photos or attachments via text.- I would suggest using a message service like WhatsApp to communicate with friends and family. Then you can send photos and talk as much as you want with the only limitation being your data limit. And of course, anything done on wifi won't count against your data.- 12G of data was plenty for a 2 week trip. I only used about 6G of data under moderately heavy use.About getting started:- The provided instructions are a bit confusing. I learned more from reading Amazon reviews.- Your phone MUST be the unlocked type to use this SIM service. Most major carriers lock your phone. Just another reason to get rid of your major carrier and buy your own unlocked phone.- Do not swap your SIM card until you get to Europe. Once you get to Europe, make sure your phone is turned off. Then swap your current SIM card with the new SIM card. You'll need to bring a pin to eject the old SIM (pin not provided with kit). Do the swap in a safe place, be very careful not to drop either SIM card. They are TINY!- Save your old SIM card in the pouch provided and do not lose it. You'll need to put it back in when you get home.- Turn phone back on. Once it's booted back up, go to settings > mobile network and turn mobile roaming on. In a minute or so you should have mobile service.- Under settings > mobile network you can select "data usage" anytime to check how much data you have used so far on your SIM card.- Orange will send you texts warning that you need to register. You can ignore this unless you plan on using the service for more than 14 days. I can't speak to the registration process because I did not do it.Overall, this SIM card worked great for me, I would definitely use it again next time I travel.

Works great
It works great. When I arrived at Zurich airport I put in the SIM card and it immediately worked. I was in Prague , Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest, Zagreb, Liubliana and Frankfort . Mi trip was for 2 weeks and the 12 GB were enough.

As Advertised
Very refreshing to purchase SIM cards for our trip that arrive in a package with a description that matches what I saw on the Amazon advertisement! I used this same vendor last year and purchased the Orange brand for that European vacation as well. It worked better than advertised, so I trust this item will do the same. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Great for travel in Europe, sufficient data capacity and texting. Just remember that IT WILL ONLY WORK IN UNLOCKED cell phones! Same as all travel SIMS.

Didn't work for me. Buy them over here instead.
Did not work for me. My phone had great signal, but said "network locked" and no data was moving. I emailed orange and they did reply within 24 hours but asked for my orange order number. As soon as I said I bought it here I never heard from them again.Look, if you're reading this, I get it. You'd like to have this Sim thing settled before your trip. Me too. I spent like thirty bucks for some peace of mind. Instead I got a bunch of complication and limbo. I am writing this from France in April of 2025 and can say Sim cards are easy to find here. You literally have to walk past four places selling them to exit cdg. If your phone won't do an esim just buy one over here.Safe travels.
