Iwatani Cassette FEU ECO PREMIUM CB-EPR-1 LPG Portable Stove

This is an attractive and well-built little hob that can be pulled out or left on the counter, as I think it looks pretty good. It is sold for indoor use, so I assume it is safe fumes-wise, unlike camp stoves, which have to be used inside. It is is a useful addition to our Aga when cooking a huge meal, like Christmas dinner, and I imagine it will be handy in the hot days of summer when we turn off the Aga.

It looks great, the gas canister fits easily using a strong magnet, it ignites every time. However, the four metal stand arms to support a pan flex considerably on a thin metal base and it warns not to use a big pan that could rest on the gas container , which is disappointing. The instructions are only on chinese, so not helpful to me. At the high price I’m left now not sure it actually represents good value for money.

This item arrived well packaged and undamaged. I was keen to see the special eco-burner in action. This model is more expensive than similar stoves and l wanted to assess whether it was worth the extra cost. It definitely is worth it. I would assess from my experience of similar machines that this uses at least 30% less gas, is infinitely more controllable and is so quiet. A very peaceful flame. I have no hesitation in recommending the appliance. The bonus is it looks stylish, is simple to use and incredibly easy to clean.

Made in Japan with good quality and easy to clean

I was a little unsure about purchasing due to some of the reviews.The product is excellent.Boils the kettle really fast and is much better looking than any of the alternatives which is the main reason for buying.The packaging is really rubbish and was delivered open and punched but luckily the stove was undamaged.

Terrible build quality for such an expensive stove. In fact the gas cannister cover doesn’t even close, it has a badly designed screw fix attachment which is angled which doesn’t allow the cover to close at all. I’d expected a hell of a lot more from the build quality for £100! Already requested a return. Absolutely shocking.

It is obviously defective with a broken gas canister cover. It should not be sold to any customer. Very disappointed and have to return it.
