Frost KingFoil Backed Fiberglass Pipe Wrap, 3"x1"x25'

It was recommended (by a plumber friend) to use this to wrap my tankless water heater pipes with this before installing a plug-in heating coil. Saved my pipes from freezing this winter several times.

Did the trick. Would buy again.

Should do ok job of insulating pipes but super thin foil backing comes off easily when handling product

Got to wrap pipes in the well house. Easy wrap, good coverage. Could be used for other things. versable.

I bought a place with a well in East Texas back in January 2021. The week we moved in, we had that severe ice storm and my well pipes froze. Right after that I started insulating those pipes to prevent freezing. It certainly insulates the water lines, but I hate dealing with fiberglass insulation. If it gets wet at all, the paper backing starts to degrade. I've experimented with other products. I'm not sure if other products work as well, though. As for this product, it's certainly easy to install; Just unroll it and secure it in place. The thickness is good and gives decent insulation. I haven't had any more issues. So, it's decent.

I bought it to use around my shower drain line cause I thought it was frozen cause of the cold weather but it wasn't frozen it was just clogged so I haven't used it yet but it does look like a good product tho... will update later about it when I do use it...
