Dont waste your money
Difficult to germinate. I tried several different methods (freezing, soaking, soil, hydro, rockwool sprouting) and was only able to get germination from 12 seeds, and minimal growth, with rockwool after meticulously babysitting and monitoring them daily. None of the plants survived long enough to be transplanted. One of the worst packs of seeds Ive dealt with in over 20years.

Alpine Strawberries growing in Aerogarden hydroponics
I wanted to give an update on my alpine strawberries journey from seeds. I started on April 19 and I started out with 6 pods in 3 pods in 2 AG. Three of the pods didn't make it due to severe root rot. The other 3 wasn't that bad. I saw a post about using air stones and I placed those in the AG. That help the 3 that was so bad and they are continuing to grow. They are producing flowers and I have some little strawberries on them. As of July 9, 2020 I have many flowers and many berries that are coming in and turning red. Soon I will be able to start harvest them.

Date code packed for planting year 2024
Update: Seeds started germinating less than a week after sowing in coco coir. Seeds were sown 4-5 per cell in a 12-cell seed tray placed next to a window. Pretty happy thus far. Next step is to see how they fair after transplanting into a hydroponic setup.Original: The seed pack I received was packed for 2024. Quantity received was supposed to be 200mg, yet I received 330mg. Pretty happy about that. Looking at the seeds it seems I may have 200-250 seeds. I'm supposed to have strawberries germination time plus 40 days. I'm growing using the Kratky method and a full spectrum 100 watt grow light. Let's see if in a month and half I'm enjoying strawberries.

👍🏽👍🏽
Good value for price seeds did take a little while longer to germinate but I think that could be due to me not putting them thru a cold cycle before planting
