Best Gait Belt Ever
This gait belt has been a life saver for our caregivers and family. It's wide and with an abundance of handles, it makes handling patients much safer and easier ! It's well made and is used every day, all day. The belt is also comfortable for the patient. I would give it 100 stars for top notch in all aspects!!

For when you can’t get back up.
With 2 total knees and a bad back, if I fall down I have a really hard time getting back up. I keep this belt handy so IF I do fall, my husband can help me back up. I bought it after my fall in the garden. It gives us a sense of comfort we can help ourselves. It is very sturdy.

Not necessarily great for bigger stomachs
My husband has a bit of a gut and I find that I can't get the belt tight enough to have a secure lift. When he does stand up, the belt falls down to his ankles. I can see it working once I get the tightness sort out. Any hints would be appreciated.
