Game-Changer for Flyaways
When it comes to controlling flyaways, the GATSBY Tancho Hair Styling Wax Stick is a game-changer. My hair has always been a magnet for stray strands, and as someone who values a polished look—whether it's a sleek ponytail or a neatly styled bun—this product has been a lifesaver. A few months ago, I noticed a few rebellious gray hairs cropping up, sticking straight out from my middle part. These pesky strands refused to stay put, and even the strongest gels or pomades only offered temporary fixes. But after hearing about the wonders of the Tancho stick on social media (apparently Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber's hairstylist uses this), I decided to give it a shot—and I’m so glad I did. This wax stick works like magic. After just a few swipes along my part, I noticed my flyaways were tamed without weighing my hair down. The formula has the perfect balance: it's lightweight enough to avoid greasiness, yet strong enough to hold even the most stubborn strands in place all day long. Plus, the cherry blossom scent is subtle but delightful, adding a touch of luxury to my hairstyling routine. I’ve used it for sleek buns, ponytails, and even on days when I wear my hair down, applying it sparingly to target stray hairs. The versatility is unmatched, and unlike other products I’ve tried, it doesn’t leave my hair feeling stiff or crunchy. If you’re someone who struggles with baby hairs, flyaways, or unruly grays, I can’t recommend the GATSBY Tancho Wax Stick enough. It’s an affordable, effective solution that I now consider an essential in my hair care arsenal.

Old school product that works great and smells fantastic. Use on roots only.
It's a great product we have yes in our household fireverl I read in an article decades ago that Sharon Stone cut her own hair and used Tancho (When she had that short windblown look). Great for styling thick shirt hair. If you v0cannjaster this product, using small amount at the root and working it through...and a powder texturizer like OSIS Dust it on the roots....you can get your hair t9mhave lift and get messy, full modelish perfection. We have always used the lavender scent, but the cherry us nice.

Smells nice and works great
I got this product for my wife and actually had tried it myself. The cherry blossom scent is pretty nice, not super sweet. When I tried it out, it did work pretty well as I use it to touch up any flyaway hairs after trying to get rid of my bed head. I used styling wax before, but this is a quicker and more convenient fix. My only gripe with his product is actually the packaging. It has an interesting system where it asks the user to push the stick up from the bottom, but there is no way of retracting it if you push it up too far. It's not a big deal as it's an easy fix, but just feels weird to take the stick out completely to reset the stopper. Once I knew how to reset it and made sure not to overextend the stick, it didn't bother me. But overall, the product works really well and smells nice, so I can live with the stopping mechanism, just have to keep that in mind and controlling how much to push up.

Works and smells nice
I first bought their matcha wax, but the smell reminded me of a grandma from Japan (I’m Japanese). Tried this one which smells way better to me. It seems “looser” though, so when I used just a little to slick back for a ponytail, by the end of the day, the wax had shifted its way onto my forehead. I’ll try using even less next time. The matcha one actually was so thick, it would pull baby hairs out. So I guess this is better than losing hair.

Best Wax Stick
I have tried so many wax sticks and I’m so glad I got this one!! Trumps all the other sticks I’ve tried. I use a brush after applying to make sure it’s flat and it will not budge. The scent is a nice plus too.

Prefect for slick back bun only
Very greasy when you put on . If you want a slick back bun this product will do it , just your hair will look very greasy especially if you have fine hair like me . Like using only when I am going to have my hair in a slick back bun only . It does smell nice .

I love this wax stick brand! It’s effective, holds well and is conditioning — I miss their green lavender scented one ~ make it available again!
