ABSOLUTE JUNK FROM CHINA
This piece of junk replacement part lasted approximately 50 flushes before it began to fail. I talked to a Flushmate representative sometime in JUNE after struggling approximately 6 weeks with a toilet that 50% of the time would not stop the water from constantly running, consequently the tank rarely filled properly. He told me he gets this type of call all day long, and wasn't surprised to hear from me on this issue since I didn't use an OEM part. His solution of course was to ONLY USE FLUSHMATE GENUINE PARTS made right here in the good old USA. As a final resort before getting rid of the the toilet I took his advice since the toilet wasn't more than 7 years old, and otherwise in good shape. I am happy to say, he was absolutely right, and I will never make that mistake again pertaining to this product. The cost of this part was no different than the cost of the junk I purchased from China on this website, $35. The only difference was I had to pay an additional $7 for shipping. Hopefully the OEM part will last as long as the original part and once it fails this time I will know exactly how to act.

Great Replacement

A product, stressed out , that works.
It worked and had stopped the slow leaking. Had to adjust and adjust, up and down, several times... Only after my wife threatened to call a plumber did the product behave properly. So... Threaten the product to get it to work. Still costs too much. What a crazy design and I can't wait to remove this dinosaur from our 1960s, but Sheesh, that will be a major project.

Parts were missing and defective. Item leaked after 8 Months.
Installed the assembly but had to reuse the lower O ring and the vacuum breaker. The O ring was missing and the vacuum breaker leaked. Item failed and leaked in about eight months. I would not buy this product.

Flushmate floater
Great replacement product for my flushmate flusher, kept me from replacing the entire unit, and was easy to install, several YouTube videos to help even if your all thumbs.

Knockoff didn’t work! Defective!
Defective knockoff product: just had surgery so called plumber to install. Plumber put in cartridge I ordered and left. Had to have plumber come out again toilet was making noise after they left. Plumber said these are knockoffs and if they work they won’t work long. Plumber had to use one of their ‘Sloan’ flushmate cartridge. No problem! Can’t wait for that bill!! DO NOT change my review as was previously done!
