These work great with almost no loss of Freon!
This AMAZING tool makes swapping out a leaking automotive A/C Valve core a breeze, with little to no freon loss. It’s super easy to use and feels really well-made—definitely built to last. I was impressed by how quickly and smoothly it got the job done. If you need to swap out a valve core this really beats having to evacuate the system, swap out the valve cores, vacuum the system and refill the system with freon. Highly recommend it for anyone in the trade or just tackling some DIY projects.

The real deal!
I charged up my 2000 Jeep Wrangler's AC after replacing the accumulator and some seals. When I pulled a vacuum to check for leaks it never occurred to me that the Schrader valve could be leaking. Shortly after I charged up the system I heard a faint noise from the high side valve. Damn!I googled for ways to change the valve without evacuating and recharging and watched a YouTube video of a guy demonstrating how to use a tool like this one. The one he was using was like $120, but I found this one on Amazon for a fraction of the cost. I only needed it to work once.Well, it worked! It took about 5 minutes.I recommend practicing with it before actually using it for the first time. Ensure you have the correct size bit (one is larger than the other) before starting. Push it onto the installed valve and gently wiggle it back and forth so you know what it feels like. When you're doing it blind you will be glad you did this. When removing it, make sure you've turned it enough. On my first attempt, I had only partially unscrewed it. I thought for a second that the old valve had fallen off and I was in a pickled. Turns out it was still on, but only some of the way. My second attempt was successful because I ensured I turned it in enough times. When removing it, be gentle as you pull it back. If it falls off, you will be in trouble. There is no way to re-grab it once it falls off. When putting the new valve in, push it slowly and carefully so it doesn't fall off the bit. Apply downward pressure to the handle as you screw it in. Don't over-tighten or it could break the new valve. It went smoothly for me overall. I'm glad I bought this tool. I hope I never need it again.

Did not fit on my coupler
Did not fit when I tried to use it on my automobile returned given full refund by Amazon I don't think there was anything wrong with the tool that's why I always buy everything from Amazon because of the great customer service

Great Tool to have if you do AC work.
This tool is a game changer. Years past, you had to evacuate the AC system to replace the valve core stem from the AC hose port if it was leaking. Now with this I was able to attach the removal tool and extract the valve stem and replace it with a new stem and not have to evacuate the Freon from the system. Saved me time and money.

Disappointed, high side connection does not fit.
As many others have said the high side connector is too short to fully lock to the high side port on my 2003 Ford Ranger. I can't imagine it would work any better on any other vehicle as this stuff is all standardized. Maybe Chinese cars? I took out O'Reilly's A/C gauge set and it fit perfectly so I'm sure it's the Orion Motor Tech AC Valve Core Removal Tool at fault.I also tried to remove and replace the low side Schrader valve, The problem I ran into here was not so much the fault of the tool, looks to me like the plunger on the valve core itself is too wide to fit into the end of the tool that grasps the valve core. This looks to me like a Ford issue (or possibly whomever serviced the A/C in the past), not a fault of the tool.I am returning, and advising others not to waste their time. I wish Amazon did a modicum of testing of their supplier's / vendor's merchandise. It's a shame when the only reviewers you can trust are YouTube content providers for whom you can watch use the product!

Needs refrigerant line adapters!
Can remove valve core but not hook up refrigerant lines for evacuation. Should have adapters to hook up recovery machine lines. Only useful to replace valve core. Not useful to me.

It actually works
I practiced with it a couple times and then I changed my Slater valve on my 2007 Toyota Camry. No problems, easy easy Easy out easy. Just make sure to check the tightness of the valve after you remove the tool.
