Simply thick works very well for food and beverage thickening. Tried several other products finding Simply Thick is the best! It is convenient to use and east to mix. A bit pricey, but worth the cost. Makes feeding easier for dyphagia. I have been using Simply Thick now for nearly 2 years. Great Product !

My mom has to be on thickened liquids due to a slow swallow. Powdered thickener tends to thicken slower, and so most times it ends up too thick, and then has a gritty texture. SimplyThick liquid thickener is a gem! The texture is palatable and I can get her drinks to just the right viscosity without making it like cement. AND you can make drinks up ahead of time without fear of them setting up too much. Just a quick shake or stir, and it's good to go. Makes it great for when I have to be out of the house, she can grab a drink and go.

Is expensive as compared to the powdered thickeners but so much easier to use and mix. Worth the extra cost if you can fit it into your budget.

My father had a stroke. The hospital recommended the simply think nectar packets in the hospital. In fact they had just switched over to simply thick. The speech therapists were excited because its easy to use. First I bought the pink packets because the rehab only had powdered thickener. Then I bought the yellow packets. I could get nectar thick with 8 ounces of liquid instead of four ounces and save a few bucks on the box. So i figured the packets are good when out. When my father returned home, I purchased the smaller pump. Went through the small pump so fast. I like to thicken a whole bottle or multiple one serving bottles. Thickening drinks one @ a time is a drag. Finally I bought the large pump. It’s fine. It works. Per ounce the large pump is the best deal. But I feel like simply thick is expensive for what it is. I’ll pay but complain every-time. Would feel a little more agreeable if i could subscribe & save. If I could make it myself I would, but who has that kind of time? As for the actual bottle & pump... The 1st two bottles i received were clear. The 3rd bottle was solid white. Hey simply thick, I HATE the white bottle. Even detergent bottles have a translucent stripe on the side so you can see how much you have left. Please rethink the white bottle. The pump is weird, it has like a rubber nipple. I’m not sure why. But if you don't wipe or rinse it after use it will get crusty and not pump appropriately. The pumps are measured, 1 pump for each 4 ounces for nectar thick. I wiped and rinsed the pump so many times the rubber tip came off. Now it pumps cleaner and is easier to clean. When you see the price of the alternative thickeners, simply thicks price is hard to take. But going back to the powdered thickener is hard to go back to. The end.

What a great product and so easy to use, and with no mess either. We use it for hot meals and for cold drinks alike.

I was recently diagnosed with a swallowing problem. My therapist recommended this. This is my third order. This time for three times the volume at only twice the cost. Best value!

My toddler has been using simply thick level 3 for over 1.5 yrs now. This is the best thickener to use for any kind of liquid; hot or cold, fizzy or still. It’s tasteless, doesn’t clump nor thicken more over time/temp and you can prepare ahead of time without it “going bad” or becoming too thick like other thickeners do. I try to use his prepared beverages within 24-48 (max) but it doesn’t actually have an expiration time of use. But that’s me personally as I noticed liquids tend to lose the thickening after too many days. As others note, you have to clean the tip of the spout at least at the end of the day to remove any crust. Otherwise, it’ll spray all over. Also, this bottle lasts my son about 3 weeks. We also use the to go packets which are super convenient and very easy to open since they are pre cut to open. The only thing I will say when using on carbonated drinks is that it might fizz up too much and overflow. That was my experience so I don’t give my son carbonated drinks.

My husband suffers from dementia and is at a stage where he has all his drinks thickened and food cut small as peas. Your product works well. Works great . No lumps and no taste . Just like your beverage only no choking .
