Helpful for modest branches, produces nice mulch
We have a lot of trees, and therefore a lot of debris from small branches every year. I hate wasting them! So, it's nice to chip them up and use them for mulch. This LawnMaster FD1501 Electric Wood Chipper Shredder makes reasonably quick work of branches up to about 1.5 inches in diameter. Anything bigger goes into a pile to be cut up for firewood for my larger Solo Stoves. The mulch shown above is from Magnolia branches. The mulch the FD1501 produces would probably also be nice as an alternative to wood pellets for smaller Solo Stoves like the Mesa (BUT I have not tried it for that, this is just a guess).

Maybe a great product for twigs?
This does not cut anything other than twigs. I have 1/2inch branches and it don't cut them. I have smaller branches. It does not cut. It just stops. It tries to cut but then stops right away. I'm sure it's cause the type if blade. The other one I had was awesome cause it was like an industrial one but the same size as this one and also cheaper. Only reason I didn't buy the same one was cause it is currently unavailable......... probably because they sold out! I've also had mine for over 3 years. Got this one today, assembly was awesome, plugged it in, pressed reset like it says, put the 1/2inch branch in, started to cut, then stopped. So I stopped it and reset it. Tried again. Same thing. Stopped it and reset it again.Tried a smaller branch.Same thing happened. Stopped it and reset it again.Tried a twig.It worked great! So if you only have twigs you need to cut, this product is awesome! Other than that, invest in a better one. Turning this back in and adding a few more hundred to get a working one. Thank you

I love this chipper.
This is a great backyard chipper. I'm a 66 year old lady who loves this tool as much as her chain saw, perhaps more. It's easy to assemble and does a good job on dried wood. But please be careful, sharp chips fly out of the top, so use the included plunger to cover the opening and always wear safety gear.

Good for residential use!
Received the chipper today and chipped a large pile of branches ranging from 2” and under. It ate through all of them leaves as well. Had some dug up juniper bushes that it ate up as well. I am happy with this purchase great value for the money. It was easy to assemble and easy to transport. If you are expecting the performance of a large commercial chipper this is not for you. But for yard use it’s been great.

Does Pine Bark Nuggets Also
I need, at times, to reduce pine bark nuggets to mini-nuggets and, at times, to get rid of tree and shrub prunings (usually I burn). This little machine does both (assuming you feed items slowly). I do need to run the nuggets through a leaf mulcher (I have a steel blade on mine so it works well) to get a finer mulch. For the price I have no complaints.

Maybe you will have bett luck.
Instructions said cuts up to one inch diameter. It wouldn't cut1/4 in. Package was open when I got itdrivers aid he got it like that. I sent it back.

Not efficient
I do not recommend buying this. Because it doesn't really mulch anything, it just kind of shreds things, but it's not very efficiently, stuff just bounces around on the inner compartment, and then you have to open it up and dump it out, and they're still huge

Love it and hate it
It’s loud and gets stuck easily. If I had to buy it again, I probably wouldn’t.But for now, I tend to put sticks in about half way and then pull it back out. That way I can create a lot of small pieces that I want. Otherwise it will get stuck if I try to shove the entire stick through, and then I have to turn it off, unplug it, unscrew the top and figure out what’s wrong.
