Super Sticky Magnetic Tape (10 feet x 1 inch) - Stong Magnet Strip with Adhesive Backing for DIY & Crafts - Easy to Cut and Mount on Fridges, Whiteboards & More

We have a plastic-framed dry erase calendar we mount to our refrigerator in the kitchen. We use it for dates, appointments, shopping lists, notes to each other ... the usual stuff. I cemented magnets to the back of it a hundred years ago and all of a sudden, a couple of months ago, it stopped sticking to the fridge. I got some new magnets and all of a sudden it was too heavy. It slid right off the side of the fridge. A friend of my wife suggested Super Sticky Magnetic Tape. Problem solved! Much lighter than conventional magnets, but just as strong. AAA++

I bought this as the reviews seem to imply or strongly suggest that this is some special stronger magnet strip tape than any at the local stores. But, it seems to me, to be no different than what is at any local store. I was not impressed by the power these have to hold to anything. I cut about a inch of this and put it on a chip clip, and put it on the fridge, as it would not work for what I bought it for. So I just used the piece for that, but in the morning the sticky part had ceased to hold the small chip clip and it had fallen on the floor. The magnet was still on the fridge, but the sticky part failed to hold the chip clip on. The chip clip is not heavy at all, maybe half a ounce and is plastic. I pressed it on harder and let it sit on the counter for a few hours, and put it back on the fridge and it is holding today. I may not have pressed it long enough, for it to bond. But, the magnet is not any stronger in my view than any other magnet tape.

For the price, this works well. It is easy to cut into whatever size you need. The adhesive is strong, and the magnet works well. If you are hanging something with some real weight, you might need more than one small magnetic strip, but it does work well. I am pleased.

I used this to keep my Roland synthesizer programmer in place on top of my Roland JX-3P synth. Great magnets, but if you're affixing a heavy item, you'll need to add something like silicone, etc. as the adhesive isn't meant for heavier weights. It cuts easily with scissors, and the magnetism is strong. Looks and functions (after adding additional adhesive) like a Roland factory option. Customer Service is fast and very friendly.

Not so great for heavier holds, such as art projects with glued on materials or handmade refrigerator decor. The adhesive on the back seems to dry completely away- so even after trying to use several strips- and holding the strips down, attaching to a clean surface- the magnet adhesive seemed to disappear after a week or so. Easy to use, just does not hold well. I appreciate that the strips can be cut in various sizes. While I am not using what I had intended it for, I use it for when I need to display something extremely light weight.

I used this to attach my daughter’s hair clips and pins and I love the organization it brings to her bathroom!! It’s not a super strong magnetic strip but enough for me to hold up the small things so she can see them and not be forgotten about in a box somewhere underneath her sink!

I use this magnetic tape in small pieces for my craft items- the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the stickiness on cardboard sometimes doesn't completely adhere and I have to use a little glue on it- The quality of the tape is fine, and it cuts easily to different sizes with ordinary scissors

Wir würden die Magnetkraft dieses Magnetbands als nicht sehr stark bezeichnen, zumal dann ja auch noch der Kleber halten muss. Für unseren Zweck reicht es aber: Wir haben das Magnetband an einem seitlichen Teil des Hausbettes unserer Tochter aufgeklebt, was gut klappte. Auf dem kleinen Magnetstreifen haften die Tonie-Figuren für ihre Tonie-Box relativ zuverlässig, wenn man sie mittig aufsetzt. Wenn mal einer runterfällt, ist es auch nicht schlimm. Also riskante Sachen würde ich nicht anhaften. Wir nutzen es nur für 3-4 Figuren im Wechsel, also nur einen kleinen Teil des Bandes und wir haben zwei Streifen nebeneinander geklebt. Für unseren Zweck reicht es, ich kann mir aber vorstellen, dass andere Besteller sich mehr "Stärke" von dem Band wünschen würden.

Strip was ideal for making a set of wooden alphabet letters into fridge magnets. My grandchildren love playing with them and at the same they are learning the alphabet. There’s plenty of tape left for other projects. The self adhesive tape sticks well and the magnets are strong enough for lightweight objects.
