This was absolutely adorable!!!! I bought this for my daughter to do over quarantine- she is 7 and has little sewing experience. She loved it!!!! It takes adult help to get it started and I was close by doing my essential oils as she was walking through the steps. She cut out her own pattern- she wanted to do a mooshroom from Minecraft. She drew it, cut it out of paper and I cut out 2 pieces of felt for her. Then started her sewing!!! She used many different stitches lol! But it is a learning process and I think the outcome is so stinking cute!!! This took about and 2 hours and I was able to work beside her!!! She did amazing with hand eye coordination and it was a very positive experience! I will forever keep this mooshroom and will show it to her children as her first sewing creation! Highly recommend this kit and we will DEFINITELY be seeing many more of these!!! Easy to refill- just pop in to Hobby Lobby and buy more felt and embroidery floss. Lots of cute accessories. Very addicting!!! Highly recommend!!!

I bought this for my seven-year-old granddaughter, and I was impressed when I checked to make sure all the contents were included. The materials are packaged in a sturdy case with a cute design. Package includes everything needed to complete the projects. The materials seem to be of good quality. Instruction booklet is included. Personally, I would recommend this craft kit be used with adult supervision to teach sewing skills.

I just received this kit that I am giving to my 6 1/2 year old daughter for Christmas. I think she's going to love it. I'll update if I find any issues once she uses it. I like that it has a little needle threader, and includes a book of patterns (on thick shiny plasticky paper, like the kind in dry erase books), the case is sturdy cardboard and very cute, and that the designs are appealing to what she is into right now. Will be able to easily buy more felt to use the same patterns, needles, etc, over and over, although there's a lot of felt included. Will probably need more stuffing eventually, but that's not a big deal to me. This is a little more open ended than another kit she had done with precut pieces, so she might need more help, but I think she's old enough and that this is the appropriate level for her. After Christmas update: my daughter loved this and made this little project. The only help she needed at 6 was tying the knots in the thread. She really likes the designs offered in this kit. NOV 2019 UPDATE: My daughter still loves this kit. Now that the weather is cold, she is using it again. And now her 5 year old sister wants one for Christmas.

I loved the craft designs, materials (fine quality), and container! The instructions were easy to follow. My granddaughters were so proud of what they created; they loved this gift! I only have two suggestions: enclose a needle threader and make the point on the marker finer, not bold.

My girls (7&9) had so much fun making little plushies and showing them off, such a great little sewing kit for a great price too

I was very pleased with this kit. The items are sturdy, the instructions are pretty straightforward and the little case is perfect to keep everything together. I got this for my 5 year old and it’s a little too old for her but I purchased a similar set for my 9 year old and it’s perfect. Great for older kids or some who have more experience.

Fun and good quality. Easy to use storage container to help with cleanup.

I bought this for my daughter for her 8th birthday. She has been talking about wanting to sew so I thought this would be the perfect gift. She was so happy when she opened this present on her birthday. The projects are cute and the supplies are really cute as well. My big complaints are the instructions are not the best. I was hoping for something a little more comprehensive. Also the marker they give you to trace the patterns on the felt is awful. It bled through the felt to the front and got all over our fingers as we were sewing. If you are giving this to someone who knows a bit about sewing I think it would be great. If not you may want to look for something else.
