To say that this is the best mascara I’ve ever used is an understatement y’all.I was shocked at the length and volume of my lashes the first time I applied it. It holds up all day, only occasionally leaving some residue under my eyes, but that is easily wiped away.But the real superpower in this little tube is how well it holds up to a good cry.For all the folks out there who are grieving, struggling with depression, or just crying a lot for some reason, you can take solace in the knowledge that this mascara won’t budge, no matter how much you sob. I am grieving for my younger brother who died in August, and crying is just a part of who I am now. One day at work, not long after I purchased my Lash Princess, I was thinking of him and couldn’t stop crying. I was in my own office with the door shut, but I was out of tissues (go figure). So I made a quick dash for the bathroom hoping no one would see me, because I was sure that there was mascara all over my face… but there wasn’t. Like, at all. I checked later to see if I had ordered waterproof by mistake, and I hadn’t. It’s just. That. Good.You can’t beat the price, the effects are stunning, and the product really holds up to anything you can throw at it.I will say that when I apply it, I first blot the wand off with a tissue. Especially when you have a new tube, a lot of product comes off at once and it can get clumpy if you apply too much. Otherwise no complaints. Do yourself a favor and add this to your cart.

I’m 55 years old and have tried more mascaras over the years than I can count, but this one has truly become my favorite. I love it so much I have it on Subscribe & Save so I’m never without it!In the photo, you can see the difference — the eye on the left has two coats, the eye on the right has none. What a difference! It instantly brightens my eyes, lifts my lashes, and makes me look more awake.It lasts beautifully all day with very little to no flaking, even on long days. I typically apply two coats for the perfect balance of volume and definition, and it never clumps or feels heavy.Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable, everyday mascara that delivers consistently great results.

I recently removed my lash extensions after having them on for almost a year to take a break from them so of course my natural lashes aren’t like they used to be. I went on the hunt for a new mascara, (the one I was using was L’Oréal lash paradise) and that one was just ok. I came across Essence and I read the reviews which were all pretty good so I decided to try. I have been using it and I can honestly say that it makes a huge difference. It truly makes my lashes look longer and fuller. I do like it but I don’t love it. Reason for that is that it smudges. I almost always have a little bit under my eyes sometime in the day while wearing it. Other than that, it would be perfect. I guess I just need to play around with some hacks to avoid smudging. The mascara is not too bad for $5.

After trying almost every mascara out there at all different price points, this mascara is way better than any others for my blonde mature lashes. I don't have as many as I did when I was younger, and they're not as long, but Essence found the magic with its Princess Lashes. I don't like waterproof mascara because it pulls out your lashes when you wash it off. This goes on smooth, is buildable, finds lashes I didn't know were there, and washes off fairly easily. And if I happen to wear it to bed, I can do a little refresh in the morning, and it looks perfect. I hope they never change the formula or stop producing it. It's super-amazing.

Not sure why people say this smudges and I can say I have too use a good face wipe cloth to take this off.I do find when I use an under the eye concealer this will happen if not enough time letting the concealer dry before or after using this product.The lashes are amazing look justvlike fake ones. But make sure you do one side 1st then go do the other one. But , if you like few coats for standing out do one eye and than the other and repent. When it dries it is hard to separate the lashes for a more defined look.Live this product overall! Mostly, the price nit $15 for the old one I use to use and didn't like

I hesitated for years to buy this mascara because I felt it was too cheap so it couldn’t be any good. Wow, was I wrong. I am amazed by this mascara. I’ve tried a lot of them too. So glad I did. It lasted through the sweatiest Zumba class. I’m convinced it’s a keeper. Also almost forgot … it washes off very easily. No harsh chemicals needed on a cotton ball to remove. I’m amazed and very surprised at my experience. Definitely recommend. I’d give it 20 stars if I could. :-)

I’ve used tubing mascara over the last few years because it’s SO easy to take off. However, I’ve started wearing glasses more regularly, and it has a tendency to come off in specks on my lenses. This mascara makes my lashes look amazing and thankfully doesn’t cause issues with my glasses, BUT it is very difficult to wash off. I washed my face THREE times — twice before bed and one in the morning after sleeping — and it still didn’t come off totally. Now, I expected it to be more difficult to get off than tubing mascara of course, but it’s still way trickier to remove than other regular mascaras.

I have tried several mascaras. It didn't matter which brand I used, my eyes would water and itch. I would wake up with yellow gunk win the corners of my eyes. And this was with removing the mascara as soon as I was home. I have been using this mascara for a week. Boy what a difference, no watery eyes, no itching and nothing in the corners of my eyes when I awake. It also stays on until I decide to remove. Why didn't I find this product sooner? Highly recommend.
