I’ve been obsessively scouting the internet for ages, in an attempt to secured a food-grade, stainless steel heirloom type of smasher/food weight tool, a bonafide well built kitchen héroe, which requires minimum maintenance, and is equally delightfully functional, and long-lasting; and after countless evolutional experimentations, and disqualifications, from rudimentary experiments, to expertly culinary educational burger’s research suggestions, and several wise “smashing investments” contractions, this monster is it! At least for the time being, until someone creates a superior, affordable alternative. Amazing engineering and finishing workmanship, the substantial heft makes a huge difference, it has a great range of usability in the indoor/outdoor kitchen, and everywhere else food demands Heavenly Maillard. Although not a deal breaker whatsoever, I truly wish there were no minuscule seams, potential bacteria prone clearance gaps, at the base between the round plate, and the upper stainless steel stumps which claps the handle; and of course, if the handle itself was of a similarly welcoming, ergonomic design, but of rather welded stainless steel component instead of bolted plastic, it’ll elevate this smasher to Heritage status, by putting all the rest of the competition to shame, in both aesthetics, and functionality. I’ll happily pay top dollar for it! Other that, a solid, satisfactory purchase, and a genuine strong performer. Please be conscious of its limitations, and hand-wash only in order to avoid any potential rust issues. All in all, I highly recommend this product!

Add this to your outdoor cooking arsenal. Lots of them out there, few have this level of coolness. Heavy, and very well made. *don’t forget to use parchment paper when smashing your burgers *

It has a nice weight to it. It heats nicely to press the meat. It's easy to clean. It's great quality. It's really easy to use and presses meat with ease. We love it. And we use it every time we make burgers. It's an awesome product. Well worth the money.

THIS WORK GOOD. SMASH BURGERS ON BLACKSTONE EASY NOW. NO MORE BURNING HANDS. (I do recommend parchment paper to prevent sticking , OR... pop the meatball on the blackstone, let it brown on one side, turn that puppy over and smash down on the browned side. Makes it WAY less sticky.)
