Blue Yeticaster Pro Broadcast Bundle with Yeti USB Microphone for Gaming, Recording, Streaming, Podcasting, Radius III Shockmount, Compass Mic Boom Arm, Blue VO!CE - Blackout

I bought the bundle back in April this year when COVID-19 Work From Home frenzy started. I needed solid audio set since I spent long hours in conf. calls. Speakers/Headsets are usually not an issue there a lot of offering out there with good quality and affordable price. But choosing the right mike is not so easy. I went for Blue Yeti because of the reputation and did not get disappointed. Great performance, never had anyone complaining about sound quality on my side. The built-in MUTE button is a great feature too. So, on the sound side - two thumbs up!!! Now the arm. Overall good - adjustable, easy to rotate, enough length, great shockmount, etc. But the joints are a challenge. If you use it as it is shown on the picture which is part of the product description (leaning backward) then no issues. But if you use it the way I do (leaning forward) no matter how hard you tighten the joint closest to the base the whole assembly leans forward until it hits the limit. Pretty much the same with the middle joint. I found a "middle ground", but certainly improvement is needed. Other than this nuisance the system works great. I added pop filter just in case...

Like many, I am a remote worker. This boom mic is a daily-use item. It has excellent sound features (four mic patterns, gain control, mic mute) and when used with the downloaded software from Logitech you can have near studio quality sound for podcasts, conference calls, and even basic recording. With a few basic adjustments for the environment you can even make decent sounding recordings. The USB format gives you good connectivity to/from a PC/laptop for convenience. The shock support helps dampen/reduce sound from moving the mic or inadvertent contact (bumps). Adding things like a screen in front and some sound-reduction around the mic (sides/back) only further enhances the audio quality. The boom arm is my only issue with this set. Two issues are the arm position doesn't really lock in place very well and there are no locations to hang other items such as headphones or additional cords. It's easy enough to add some means of hanging items from the boom arm without impeding holding or function of the microphone - but with only the microphone weight, the boom arm does not hold position firmly enough to prevent the mic position from changing over time.

Ok guys, this mic is awesome. Great sound quality but WARNING: watch a youtube video on how to set it up or your sound will suck. I think a lot of the complaints here are due to operator error. 2 key things: 1. switch to the solenoid - the heart shaped mode and keep the mic's front in front of your mouth and 2. turn the gain DOWN. if you do those 2 things your sound quality will be amazing. Also, I love the boom mic. You do have to really crank on the knob parts to get it to stay in place but I don't see any other product like this in the market and mine swivels fine. Once it's set up it's great. You can see how I'm using it in my pic. I do podcasts so it's so useful for me to just swivel this thing in and out and it looks great. Finally, the customer service has been really fantastic. I actually lost a piece and the company has been great about helping me and getting the part that I lost (due to my fault) out to me very quickly. I love those guys and it's really, really, really rare for me to experience great customer service these days so I'm most likely gonna stick with these guys forever.

EDIT: Sad to say that Blue has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. The mic itself works great, but on the boom arm, a couple of metal pieces seized together and will not separate. I contacted Blue support, and was just told they dont have "replacement parts for that, sorry." I followed up asking where I may be able to get a comparable piece, and they did not respond at all. So I was left without support within the warranty period. Dropping this down to 1 star. I am someone that does a lot of research when it comes to making expensive purchases. I looked up youtube reviews, reviews here on Amazon, as well as on other tech review sites, and I can say with confidence that the Yeticaster is definitely a top tier choice when it comes to above average USB Mics, and a fantastic shock mount and boom arm. This is definitely a great value for a great product that will provide high quality sound, look amazing, and save on precious desktop real estate (I previously used a desktop microphone stand. Having the boom arm come up and around is so much more convenient!)

Mic is great, but boom arm not so much. The arm is pretty fragile and does not like being moved to certain positions. Its easy to use and set up and my only problem is the boom arm. Its worth the amount of money I spent on it for the mic alone as its really high quality. Buy an elgato boom arm or something else though. I have had 2 of the yeti boom arms and both broke within the first 6 months. 4 stars for the mic alone. 1 star for the boom arm.

Microfone impecável, áudio padrão já é de qualidade elevada, mas com o software g hub e com uma configuração correta se torna extremamente profissional. Entretanto, acredito que seria interessante se enviassem um pé para mesa também.

Great product. Use it every day for work conference calls and for recording various vox pops and other sounds. High quality sound, very reliable, looks great and the Blue boom arm is highly secure and reliable. Definitely recommend and would buy again. Only suggestion is to make the mute button more sensitive, sometimes it takes a couple of pushes to engage / disengage. Also make the flashing / persistent red light less bright / intrusive - at night it can be a bit ‘in your face’ and a distraction from work. These are small gripes however, that could be improved in future models - overall very happy with it.

The Yeticaster by Blue, includes a Compass Boom, with shock, desk clamp, and a Blue Yeti. The thing is as sturdy as they come, due to the construction quality that Blue puts into everything they stamp their name on. One draw back is the mount. The clamp is separate from the arm, to allow maximum mobility. The boom just slides in to a fitting . It makes the Yeticaster easy to move around, but also susceptible to arm sway, as the heft of the arm and microphone can draw to the side quite easily, if your clamp isn’t on just so. The sound quality is fantastic, and a lot of that has to do with the easy to use settings that Blue enables on the yeti. If you are a gamer, YouTuber, etc. You can have an even greater control over your sound, by customizing the settings in your software of choice. OBS is a good bet, as its user interface is easy. The sound is super crisp, and picks up everything. So be aware of that. If you can customize what you sound like, do it. But otherwise, there isnt much to say here. Its easy to assemble, its plug and play, its great. Get it.

Super qualité, je l'utilise pour mon bureau avec toutes les réunions pour le télétravail. Le bras "perche" est super maniable, permet de suspendre le micro en l'air hors du champ de vision des moniteurs. Niveau son, ce micro le Yeti Blue est top pour moi, mes correspondants m'entendent super bien, et n'entendent pas mes chats quand ceci sont dans un moment expressif :D Je ne regrette pas l'achat, bon investissement.
