Ghosthorn Fishing Rod and Reel Combo Graphite Telescoping Fishing Pole Portable Travel Kit with Carrier Bag for Freshwater Saltwater

This is a great collapsable rod and reel combo. I purchased it for fishing while camping out with the scouts and my grandson. The rod holds up well and is very compact for transportation. The reel has smooth action and works well. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants a good fishing set up for on the go.

I got this fishing pole set for my husband for his birthday and he was beyond excited to have received it! He immediately put it all together and stated that this a very nice set and extremely well made. He stated that the feel of the pole had a nice weight about it and he anticipates it is going to be perfect for the fishing spots we have picked out. He is so excited to try it out and I would hightly recommend this pole set!

Great product! Best travel rod/reel I’ve ever used.

The gear in this product was good. Deploying the rod is stiff but I like that. the rod and real are good great for medium fish. The tackle is not the best but its a good starter. I may buy one for myself this real and rod was a gift for my son for X-mess.

Great rod and reel combo. Easy to set up and compact that allows no need for a long space vehicle for rod. Moves smoothly when operated and the ambidextrous handle is perfect. An absolute awesome buy!

Impressive tackle sling bag. Out of the box this bag appears sturdy and well-made. I was looking for a sling bag to use when wading inshore saltwater areas and this seems to fit the bill nicely. I needed a bag that could hold one 3700 series lure box and one 3600 series lure box. This one does. In addition, I was able to fit a leader material “wrist spool” and at least 15 packs of Z-man baits in there, too. That stuffs the bag to the gills but it does all fit. (Frankly I doubt I would ever need to carry anywhere near 15 packs of Z-man but I was curious about the capacity of the bag). One of the main reasons I wanted a sling-style bag for my saltwater inshore wade fishing is that I sometimes wade waist deep water and a sling bag rides high enough on my back to stay up out of the water. This bag is great in that respect. Even stuffed the bag is comfortable and well designed to fit (me, at least). The wide, padded shoulder strap is quite comfortable and the second strap and clip (to keep the bag in place when on your back) is perfectly fine, though not quite as nice as the one on my LLBean tackle sling bag (which itself is a great bag but not big enough to hold a 3700 box, so not an option for me for this particular application). Others have noted this but the pliers case that comes with the bag is small—suitable for hemostats or perhaps something a big bigger, but too small for standard sized aluminum fishing pliers. My only complaint at this point—and it is a minor one—is that I would have preferred to see a larger pliers case. Zippers on the bag are metal and appear to be reasonably heavy duty. I am interested to see how they stand up to the saltwater. Other than the zippers, the hardware on the bag is made of a heavy duty grade hard plastic, which is perfect for my intended use since rust is not a concern with plastic hardware. I ordered the black colorway, which is actually black trimmed with some olive green. I think it looks great and prefer the look to all-black. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this bag as a tackle carrier for saltwater inshore wade fishing. Now, to see how it stands up over time...
